Thanx man. I'm an MPC60 (lol) kinda guy. I just figured out how to use PAINT.NET and thats my first attempt at a cover. Not too shabby i guess. So saying i put up pro level work is awesome. You got great sound too by the way. I'm starting the artwork for vol#2. And i'm amped to show you guys what i got!

Its been a while since i been around. Koolassjoe is fulfilling his duty as a father like many of you have and its awesome. With that said time flies. Ive alot of catching up to do. I see music is still flowing as ive got plenty to listen to from you guys. i decided to go back to my roots and play with some beats. even got a few new songs that i actually enjoy rockin! And i still hate the present rap styles but my hate is diminishing. You see some kind of force takes over when i hear a garbage rapper rap and when i hear a drum in the wrong place or a snare a bit too high. that means i still got it in me. So i been researching the interweb thing and its clear i been playing a bit to much PS3!

Anytime the block hits your creative movement... Time for a review. A full review. Find every piece of work you have ever created or can find & listen to all of it! Track them old school with the pencil and paper method we used in the last century! Listen to how shitty you sounded back when u first created and laugh at it. remember how much of a noob u were when it all began. im sure ideas should pop in and out just like the memories of when you were freely creating. i personally would drink a brew or hit some of the "devils lettuce" then reinstall all the ideas I had that I never mastered. by the time u rock the last masterpiece you actually completed, the block should be gone.

Another way to break the block is to teach someone what you do. Ive taught several people how to use the generator. trust me nothing pushes your musical ability further than passing on your skills. Somehow you end up fine tuning your entire process and when you see your own style in someone elses direction, you hear yourself differently. Plus freeing some of the pressure of creating better stuff is the best path. ive made songs that sounded horrible to me but excellent to others. what u think isnt good enuff to post might be someone elses fav track! Writters block or beat masters block... its just thinking to hard.

How about adding "Artists Showcase" under Music showcase? Then each member would be able to post a song list or link list on their own. Might end up being like a user based contents section and it might make it less time consuming than going to each members profile and checking contributions.

Anyone know how many songs are up in terms of numbers? people generally do a song per post but even ive posted multiple songs in one post. @ 10000 posts, would it be 10000 songs?

To fill in some history and general rhetoric, ima say this.

I wanted to do this beat as a child. This is a rip from Transformers: The Movie. The original animated clasic. The scene when Optimus Prime dies passing off the matrix was a real emotional scene for a kid in my age group during that era. This is twenty somthing years ago people. Back then all i could think about was beat boxing that tune.

Well dreams come true. just like the generator. A few years back i sampled that scene and came up with this. I always enjoyed the sound from the movie and i really didnt do much mastering (as with most of my work).
