TITLE- Beat Down- (the NASTY '09 Remix)
AUTHOR- 147 crew
FILETYPE- mp3 + Video link
PROGRAMME USED- MUSIC2000 on psONE
DESCRIPTION- From the file I had saved from the Vault I started to add more to the melody plus loads of new samples for a different sound. Tweaked the percussion somewhat and after reading some of the latest topics, added a few fun extras.  :D

Listening back to the tune I thought 'Beat Down' fitted quite nicely.

1st mp3 is from the Vault (Corrupted, Removed)
2nd mp3 is NEW TRACK (Corrupted, Removed)

Video link is NEW TRACK - Still Live

like i said on youtube, awesome basslines and sounds, that one thing missing in music 3000 i think is the ability to make indiviual sounds more gritty and stuff..

anyway love the beats aswell!

Yeah thanks for the comments, I don't think i'd do very well at MUSIC3000 now although, I think i'm gonna stick up the tunes I made in video format.

MUSIC2000 is cool for tweaking samples, you could probably do a lot more. I'm always tryin' new things.

Yeah cheers for that  :D

Am tryin' to make more like this, Continual madness. Like the pitch bend  8) Not had much sucess before but it doesn't sound too bad.

OOoops, I said the beat from Roni Size, its actually Ed Rush n Optical 'Rock tha House' Nice beat though

Will put the samples on TIMGUL Instruments soon.

stonecold

Like this mate! Love that 'wobble' sound you got.

Thats wot its all about...messing with the samples, experimenting. :)
Im quite a fan of 'zipper' effect myself. Really nice on subs and low octave hard synths.
I'd rather be a nobody, than a somebody who 'nearly' made it.

Great for experimenting, all I do really. Never actually fully completed a track as i'm never happy.

Don't think I used the zipper effect for this tune, most of the 'wobbly' sounds are made in Note Volume Envelope. 18 points like a zig zag. Close together/far apart, trial n error really.

Used the Zipper and or Zap effect in 'Blow yr Horn' Sounds ok, but makes a lot of samples sound the same I found. Not used it a lot.

Appreciate the comment.

Is the 'Four tet' Tune yr latest? On YT I mean, still to listen...DnB??

stonecold

Yeah one of those(depending on bpm) zap i think, can make a nice triplet modulation. Used both in 'weapons division'

The Four tet remix is the my latest on youtube (took a while to get the vid together). Its not d&b, more break style. 106 bpm. Its in the 'dnb/breakbeat' section in timgul.
Just completed a metal skeleton track which should be up soon. :)

Quality, lovin' MUSIC2000. My next tune- 'The Nasty VS Beat Down VS Metal Skeleton'

Have to check TIMGUL INSTRUMENTS make sure I have included some of the samples, Nasty five is in there n i'm sure thats in Metal Skeleton.

Using a lot of Triplet (echo) and Autopan effects.

Will check out yr vid  :D
