Title: Sacrifice for Life
Post by: DJ Ryznup on January 01, 2009, 05:01:17 AM
I originally planned to go back to this track and re do it, but since I haven't had too much time to do so at the moment, I decided to go ahead and upload it as it was  when it was originally created 5 years ago. I really couldn't figure out what genre to put this in from the list of categories that are listed here in the artist lounge. I still might re-edit and add some stuff later, and if I do I'll upload it.

And I would also like to say to all my TIMGUL peeps,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Thanks for the comment guys. I made this song with a folk/pop sound to it with the guitars and it was mostly experimental for me. But I probably should have put it in the rock/metal/pop section and I would have, had I realized pop was a part of rock section before I posted it. Oh well :/

Off the bat really nice guitar work. The beat is smooth, subtle, yet plays perfectly with the rhythmic guitar notes. Then the strings in the background kick in.... Sounds great. The piano kicks in at 2:19 and I really enjoy this part.... Everything is in harmony here. Your music is one allows itself to make you think. This is good mood music, atmosphere creating...
Nice work, DJ.

A really cool track mate, I can imagine playing this track on one of those warm summer nights with a few beers and a smoke.

Really chilled stuff pal, loved it.

Thanks Bass and Darkbliss.

This was one of the last tracks that I did before I stopped making music on the first MG years ago.  It was also one of my best works at the time. I plan on doing another song similar to this one in the future.

Well I couldn't tell you how many songs I have made in my 'career'. But I do know that everything that I've finished and still have, I've already uploaded. In my 'Introduction' I talked about how I lost a lot of songs to a corrupted memory card and I also lost and misplaced some of my backup memory cards with finished songs as well. And most of the tracks that I have left were unfinished tracks, which I probably have the same amount of as BlondeJustice (near 100 unfinished). I've recently went back to a lot of them since I started using MG again and started reworking some of them, but I've found it difficult trying to go back to my old tracks(most over 6 years old) and finish them. But I think I might start uploading some of my own 'WIP' soon just to see what people think of them.
