Title: Samples
Post by: DarkBliss on February 24, 2009, 08:38:04 PM
Does anyone know of a website where I can download mp3`s (legitimately of course) of various sound effects to be burned on to CD? I`m really after a "3, 2, 1, blast off!" kind of voice sample.

Cheers.

I think FL Studio 7 has a voice sample of a countdown.. Let me find it.. If I can find it, I'll mp3 it and upload it here.

You'll have to upload it; the one I have "countdown.speech" only goes from 10 to 3.

Free Drum Machine for windows anyone ?
Very easy to use....Has an oldskool fat sound..Could be used to make beats then import them into the music software.

Search for hammerhead rythm station.

;D Cool...You can also download various sample banks/kits to use on it from the same site.

I use windows vista,...To get it to work i have to run the programme as administrator...Otherwise it freezes...Didn't have this problem with XP though  :)

My Vista automatically runs most .exes as an admin for some reason, not sure why like you say most others have to do it manually. You upgraded then huh? :)

Ahh sweet. I had XP once, on a machine from 1999 with barely any RAM and a 9GB HD. No idea how I ever went 8 years with that piece of shit, but now I have a lovely Acer PC with Vista, 1GB RAM and a 70GB HD. Anything is a bonus over the old tank I used to navigate! Say Irn, any news on the T-1000 remix?

Just learning new tricks first...lol  ;D

It should work mate, just drag it to the right if not at 8080 then all the way. It happens to a lot of people and is simply a buffering error.
