It might be possible to transfere files between ps1 users without using a ps2 if you had a floppy drive file saving system and one on your pc,.......but they seem very rare,...Would be easier to get a ps2 and a max drive,Neither have been proven to work saving ps1 files on then putting on a computer as of yet(here),I will put the max drive to the test as soon as i get it.Would test the floppy drive,..Only i dont have a floppy drive on my laptop.

Yeah,i've read somwhere that it is possible to do that,But i can,t save a song directly from m2k onto a ps2 card.Maybe you have to save it on a ps1 card,...then transfere it.I have ordered a max drive from amazon btw  :)

Cheers stonecold!! I got the plane sample along with the other war sounds from various free sample sites,The plane sample was cool,Sounded very realistic,...It came with the stereo effects etc,I too like messing with the volume and stereo of samples. :)

EDIT: Oops Almost forgot....Thanks jcw...If you use the pc version of mtvmg then i suppose you could make synth sounds in fl to use in it.

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Re: G.A.R.A.G.E

:) Thats a pretty cool track man,I like the percussion in it and that wobbly b-line.I am curious.....I take it this programme has pre-made drumloops etc,Does it let you trim and cut them and splice them together and use effects over loops? whereas on music 2000 you could only use effects on single hit samples,...Snare,Kick,Hi-hat etc.

Nice!!..Quite chilled and melodic at the start with them halfstep beats,Cool rythms and percussion,Like the electro styled bassline. The drums after the drop could do with being a bit louder in the finished version though imo.Its going to be a cracker of a tune when its finished.

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Re: Rockdrums

 :) Im from England.

I mean have you ever played a real drum kit before in your life?

I mean the cymbals sound very good because you reduced the volume of them.

And i like the way the toms play through left speaker...then right speaker (panning)

It sounds profesional (pro)...Meaning very good!!  :)

:D Nice!! They sounded really good, clean & the cymbals were kept to a level,Quite pro actually,....Like the use of panning on the toms.
Have you have had experience playing acoustic drums?

:) That was fun!...................level 3 was difficult to get through!(?)  :D ...You have to really concentrate on what your doing at the end of that level,The sound effects helped me out alot!!

I found this while searching the net for this disc drive. It has lots of info regarding how to use it and who made it and when it was released etc.I have the original box that it came in and it was manufactured by a company called DATEL.

That would be cool!,Maybe even share files for use between playstation users aswell as playstation to pc vice versa,if we both had floppy drives on our computers and for our playstations,...Would make Remixing each others songs alot easier and better. As for memory cards,Its a shame the limit is 15 blocks,Because the m2k programme lets you put more work in to your song when using imported samples than a memory card will take.I'ts not nice having to remove stuff from your tune when it sounds so good just to fit it on a mem card.

I made this example in a few minutes (half an hour)Lol...As soon as id finished recording it i switched off the playstation without saving....But i can still remember some of the details about it.

I set the bpm at 180,I used "Military" from the snare section played Nearly half way up octave 5 (can't remember exactly)
I used "jazzy" from the snare section Layered with and played 2 notes below "military"

For kick drum i THINK i used "Punchy" and played this nearly half way down octave 4

The hihat i used i think was "nine toppy" played 2 keys up on octave 5

I also used a tom which i THINK was called "high" played somwhere on octave 5

And for bass i used "Upright" from the bass acoustic section.

The cymbal at the end was "Jazz Master"

I also used "ROOM" reverb setting 42-42 from the start then "HALL" reverb setting 42-42 right at the end for the cymbal.

As for screen shots,..That might be a problem because it would take far to many shots to capture the Note Repeat Settings for each note...But i can quite easily make a VIDEO showing me recreating this rythm. That wouldn't be a problem.Except i dont know how to upload a video directly on to TIMGUL.
