I will continue using music 2000 till i die!!lol :D I might record all the samples and some of my riffs to use in fl studio,Good Samples!!

I use 4 shared to upload any tracks that are to big to upload to TIMGUL,Its good because you have the option to just play the track rather than download it,or both,Fast buffer too!!

You should be able to if your using a stereo jack,Ive used a mono jack by accident before.I think you can usually tell by how many little plastic rings are on the jack plug itself,2 for stereo & 1 for mono I think. But i haven,t worked out how to record in stereo using audacity. And i get ringing whenever there is subbass :-[

yeah,I kinda get ya.The filters dont make much difference when you adjust the settings,Too many numbers!!
Still,Does anyone know what that little section of the note repeat box does. The bit with two arrows pointing right followed by a number three ?

Btw I have recently been using fl studio,But i will definitely still be using m2k because its just so simple to use!!!And i like the samples and the way the envelope settings work in it and overall sound that the programme produces. And i can just turn on the old graystation,And after a few hours of tapping buttons on the pad,I have a great sounding track!!Too much fun to be ignored!!!!!  :D

:D I usually listen to DnB & Jungle but i can apreciate good quality Breakbeats like these.Acidic breakbeat sound.Very good work!! ;D

Yeah, Sampling is great!Shame you don't get much time to record though and memory! 1 card per tune lol

WOW!! Nice one,There is a few variations of the classic amen & funky drummer samples,And some other proper old funk break samples.
The old funk breaks are best for dnb & jungle coz they were played acoustic.Real Drum Patterns!!!!!!!!!Definitely be hearing these in my future tunes spliced up!!Thanks Alot!!!!!! :D

:D You can trim a sample so it starts at a different point,And is a more visible way to do so depending on the sample(vocals & imports).I use the sample start over time feature often over riffs depending on the samples i use,Good if you make a make a melody using a sound that changes its tone from start to end.Use it on my beats aswell sometimes.I watch the odd episode of freinds,Can't remember if i've seen chandlers CLAW. :)

:DCheers 147.....Now you have saved me loads of time messing about trying to find the right volume setting...Nice one.

:D Yeah,Somtimes when i layer snares one sounds like it starts slightly after the other,When this happened in the past, I used to use a different snare sample,......But now if this happens i just take the samples in question to the sample editor,And usually one of them has a gap before the waveform kicks in,Sometimes as much as 1.5 centimeters or so!!!!Some of the samples in this programme are not trimmed properly to start with!!!All i do is zoom in on the sample as far as it will go then trim it as close to the very start of the wave as i can get it,Sometimes even further,But always making sure that when i trim it i do it at a point where the squiggly line of the waveform meets the central horizontal line of the sample editor.Other wise you get clicks and pops.I use a similar tecnique when adding loop to a sample. If you just loop a sample and just place the loop point anywhere, you might end up with clicks and pops during playback that you hear when the play bar skips back to the loop point,So i usually zoom in and set the loop point at a position where the line of the waveform meets the central horizontal line,So that the end of the sample blends with the starting point of the loop.Good tecnique for trimming samples in general to avoid clicks'n'pops at the start and end of any sample.

Not lame!!! :D
Trim the start of them snare samples.....See the difference it makes!!!! :D

8 MONTHS AND 4 WEEKS!!!!!!Thats a seriously Looooooong time to be holding a pad for one tune!!How many hours really?

:D Nice,Nice!Liking the bass and the harsh synth crazy sounds!Hihats and tabla percussion are quality.Theres one break in this track that starts at 0:44 .Sounds like some layered snares were used,Sounds like one of the samples starts just after the other,Either that or you intentionally done that in the note repeat box.Either way Good Tune!! =)

:D Thanks,Im gonna try that out,Can i ask what volume you set the game at usually,To cut down on the the trial and error bit?

:D Yeah,That way i could switch note repeat settings aswell so that i can make a melody using the different tones that the kickdrum buzzes make when played at different speeds over the 1000 bpm mark...Good idea,Thanks!! :D

:D   Lol..Thanks Nakamura,I don,t usually make stuff like this...............But will do more often from NOW ON!!....lol.I want to have a go at doing some proper xtratone,Fill every box with kicks,Then double them in the note repeat.Go for 2000 bpm+ lol
#94
:D Have you got some break samples then,Because this mp3 has just bass samples/riffs.

:D Ah,Chatrooms,I understand now...Cheers Not A Number,I used the kick drum sample "go down" Or you could mean the machine gun 1000 bpm xtratone riffs that can be heard right at the very end.
#96
Cheers for that,There is some quality bass samples in there,The one before the aphex twin sample is sounding promising!
Also them squelchy acidy bass riffs,They would be very difficult to replicate in m2k. :D Gonna make a cd

:D Thanks JCW,Yours is good and it inspired me.

:DThanks audioghost,I quite like some of this more brutal hardcore type stuff,But i understand the sitting through sets of it!
I mean why waste energy standing,Because you would only be doing either,No dancing at this speed lol :D

;D This was FUN to make,The tempo switches between 999 & 499 bpm. There is also plenty of reverb in this track.Sounds best when played at the highest volume possible....lol   :D

:DLOL,Didn't think of that!!! ::) Thanks,Though it would be better to use somthing like audacity because when i use the dvd recorder i seem to pick up some sound in the background that sounds like a cd spinning on a spindle,This can be heard at the start and end of all of my tracks,Cheapy dvd recorder lol  ;D

Yeah, I have exactly the same problem as jcw when i  try to record sounds from playstation to pc using audacity, but it works fine when i record from vinyl through my mixer. So now i record my psx tunes on to dvd then extract to .wav.But it would be good to use audacity,Because i usually use one dvd per tune which is a waste really.
