Title: Turmoil (old track from 2002)
Post by: Fear 2 Stop® on January 21, 2010, 01:49:46 PM
This is an oldie...never been uploaded until now. This originally started off as a cover of "Whole Lotta Love", then a cover of "Immigrant Song"...then ended up being an original. My original goal back then was to eventually have somebody rap over it.

Fun fact...we recently remade this and the 2009 version is an outtake from the upcoming cd.

Cool track. Nice bass and backing beat. The melody reminds me of one of my old tracks called "Ice Cream' that I made on the first Music Generator years ago. I never finished it but after listeining to this I might upload it soon.

i like this track-like the panning on melody and it's inventive for a first track
i can really see how far u have come with your music-and i like that u have not been afraid to try crazy shit like making music out of shapes on the sequencer because after all we are supposed to have fun and explore with our music or what good is it too us   casper

Let it never be said that you can't make some brilliant beats, regardless of how crazy or out-there the song is.
I'm loving this track quite a bit, especially the sustained bassline. It's actually quite interesting given it never actually changes (as far as i can tell), yet the melody about it does, quite a bit, and it never really clashes.
When i have to the time to set up a songclick acount properly, i'll make sure to check out more of your tracks. I've heard a couple in the past that i have unfortunately lost that i LOVED due to how completely outside-of-the-box most of them were.
