Okay guys I am thinking of some new, creative ideas to help TIMGUL
rock even harder, or drop the bass EVEN lower, or....  :D YOU get the idea.

* Artist of the Week *

I will select an artist at random each Sunday evening.
*Next, that Artist will be Showcased including featured songs, links to them, etc.

This will be a way to bring attention to that Artist for new members as well as
current/old ones reacquainting them to songs they may not remember as well
as songs they may have not heard.

Anyhow I think this is a great idea. I welcome all feedback and comments.

Kool idea! Will this be in a new category? Will this be random or will the choice be based on the amount of destructive force the artist displayed for that month? will we be able to go thru past & present artist of the month after this gets rolling? will this be displayed like the little "employee of the month" pics in fast food restaurants on the right side of the TIMGUL boards? will midgits take over the world? lol. Kool idea!

Were back up to 200+ users but only around 50-100 have music posted and some are just bots. Im sure this should make going thru choices a bit easier although i agree w RS, that alot of work.

It will be a little work, but it won't be too difficult... I have some ideas up my sleeve, or somewhere. Nah no drawing names out of a hat, or flipping a coin. I'm having my Cat "Peachy" pick the Artist.  ;D Okay that's just nonsense! ... I'll just choose whoever.  :D

yeah I have 2 cats Tigger and Buddy. Buddy is a little rotund at 22 pounds...lol

Anyway just let us know when you decide to do it! ITs a great idea.

22lbs.... damn.... My Cat is 12.5lbs, but as an added bonus she plays with water. It's the funniest thing ever. She will friggin attack the water if you are watering the yard or whatever. She will chase the water stream in circles, batting at it with her paw, even if the water hits her right in the face she don't care! We're trying to get a video camera to record her doing so, then I'll upload that and I bet you $$$ there will be millions of hits!  :D

Ohhh yeah back to business. I plan on starting Artist of the Week THIS Sunday after midnight. I already know who I have selected, but none of you doooo hahhaaaaaaaa Muwhahahhahaaaaaa  :) :D :) :D

you would get a shit load of hits on that....lol

The first Artist of the Week presentation/post is complete. It will be posted Monday AM around 12:00 AM Pacific Time.

And it is......

Will the Artist of the Week post include an "ode" to them...like a paragraph in honour of them, who they are, what their music is like etc

Yep. I mention when the Artist joined TIMGUL, where they are from(If they make this available on their profile), their style of music, etc. and other links where their music can be found.

The Artist of the Week will be posted on the main page anytime from Saturday to midnight Monday AM.
