Indeed, this is very brilliantly produced.  One of my favourites so far!  Excellent work, my friend.

Now HERE is some real good dark ambiance.  The first one is a perfect introduction.

The second places me in a dark ruins somewhere, searching for answers.

The third tells me that I have found the location of the answers I seek, but a puzzle awaits my discovery.

This really makes me smile.  It is funny, but very well written as well.  Reminds me of the Chocobos.

Oh yes.  Very, very nice track.  Castlevania should be envious. :)  It loops very well, too.

I'm glad I've helped inspire you, Beoulve. :)

Not a Number: Thanks, but yes, there is a lot of repetition.  That's what ambiance is, mostly.  The percussion and certain sounds help a little in breaking from that repetition and creating some breakdowns.  But for the most part, very repetitious.

Thanks again.

Beoulve, the real key to getting that dark ambient sound for me is to take the normal sounds and lower them about two octaves.  They're slower, deeper and darker than on their original octave.  That and some repetitious percussion and I'm happy. :)

Track 04.  There's a skip at 1:36 that came from an unknown source.  I've decided to keep it, though.

Catchy little thing.  You've done some excellent work on the production, like the reverb on those certain snare hits.  A great blend of styles and genres to boot.

"the dark lord" is awesome!  I absolutely love what you've done with it.

"howling mines" is even more to my liking.  Very Industrial.  :)  Great work!

This is good.  It is a little different than your usual stuff, but it still works very well.  I like the piano, actually.  It adds a softer gloomy feel ... a sense of reminiscing, hence the "past".

I started a new album, The Taste of Rust, a few days ago and finished it within four days.  It's very dark and ambient, so expect a lot of repetition.  I consider it the perfect substitution for the game Quake.

I love your melodies.  Your ambiance is incredible!  This would definitely work as a character theme ... or a sacred place, possibly on the moon.  ;)

Very nice piece, Beoulve.  Very fitting.  I could see this working on numerous occasions, and not just a mountain theme. ;)
