Hah, pretty well done, and i can definitely see what you mean with the platformer/Mega Man feel towards it.

hey victorycreed,
nicely done mate, i think its hard to recreate other peoples work but you done a good job on this, i do think the intro is a little to long as it runs over the 2 minute mark, and i would say you have put it in the wrong section of music as i couldn't say this was trance or techno lol but it was well put together and had nice piano, good job, make a hard trance remix and put it back in this section dude, peace, ;D

Thanks, and I agree about the opening, but I've learned from then to not to do anything like that again :) Trial and error.

And that last line makes me wanna' put up one that would fit pretty well. Another oldie, but a tough ass one. Just have to re-record it again.

Experimental/Other / E vs. VC - YT Link

After getting my game up with a bunch more tracks, this was the first one I ever did that was more or less an instrumental remix to a mainstream song, it being Evanescence's "Bring Me to Life."

Y'know, before it got overplayed. ;)

Anyway, it'll take a bit before it get to the familiar portion of the song, and though I thought it was cool before, now I kinda look back and annoy myself that I did such a long intro. It works for some, might not for others, but it's a risk to take in anything you do.  :)

Very reminiscent of the 90's US dance, probably because of the vocals, but I'm with you on leaving them out in future products. Even with MTVMG2, I found that they can be a nuisance to edit, but if it's as loose to do on that then it is on MG2, give it another try sometime. Just because something doesn't work when you first use it, doesn't mean it won't when you get more experienced.

Haha, mine said the same! I wish I had experience in Music 2000 to really have an understanding of what you were working with, but I agree with pillage, it does need some more structure, and more of a drumline to go with the main tune's loop to avoid it from being not so appreciative once it's the only thing heard in it. however, it's a good concept in the making.

I can see what Bass Launch means by the vocals being too loud, and the female's were off a few times, but I like the instrumental arrangement. This almost even felt like an intro track to an album, as well.

I'd definitely like to see what else you got.

I like how everything just eased in. All sounds leveled and smooth, and for me, reminiscent of old school Robert Miles. Well done again.

Nice how well it did fit to the action, good job!  ;D

Thanks to all. Should the remake go as planned, I may do another video to it where it fit with another Matrix-related scene. All without doing a thing to video :)

I love this track, prbly my favourite from you. My suggestion would be to reduce bass a bit though, altough I understand with the sample Dancer sometimes it can be a little hard to do so. Nice work. Welcome here btw :)

Thanks, and for it being the first, it's definitely one of my favorites to hear, thought I clearly got better as time went on. The thought of retouching this, and a lot of them, honestly, have been in my head for a time, and with the plans made for it, it may go down. Thanks for the welcome, and feedback.

Short, though pretty cool. Something about it is very nostalgic, but outside the idea of an intense pinball game with a sci-fi touch, I can't place them all at once. All I know is that it's cool with me.

I'd only be repeating what's mentioned in the video itself, but this was the first track I made following my first venture to a big Gothic/Industrial fest called Dracula's Ball (hence the title), back in 2004. I was still green to the whole music production game, but I finally had more inspiration to go on, and this was the end result.

Very cosmic sounding. Fast paced coolness that I can see getting club time :)

I'm trying to decide if it's either that or my speakers acting strange with distorting the sound of the kick, but everything else sounds fine to me.

I can definitely see this for a MUGEN-based stage, or most other fighters (I can't help but think of Chen Shin Zan's stage from Fatal Fury 2, as well). Well done in capturing something cool enough for a fighter soundtrack, yet smooth enough to keep a player both in the game and on the tune.

Pretty good  :D I like your main melodies and overflow flow.
Perhaps the drums are bit too loud. Just my opinion.

Welcome to the Forum.  ;D

Thanks  :) It's been long overdue to come here.

TITLE- Kuragari
AUTHOR- victor.creed
FILE TYPE  - MP3
PROGRAM USED- MTV Music Generator 2
DESCRIPTION - Back in 2005, this was the eight song I ever made with the program, but involved the most rewrites and mixes of the many I had made. It originally started out as a slow track, until I played around with further to form it into its fast-paced form.

It was reminiscent of action scene music from most movies, and upon playing it to the movie shown in the video , it fit all too well.

I've been thinking about redoing the track with better percussion, but I'll leave that for now. Tell me what you think.

Pretty nice. It started out with the feel of being in some cyberpunk world, like Blade Runner or Snatcher. Then as it picks up, it keeps with that feel with a good transition and breaks.
