my music is amatuer,it is intended to inspire those with little musical skill to be creative and try music.

And for that sentence alone I have decided you rock. And thus so will your music, even if it might not all be to my taste, but we shall see.

Glad to make your acquaintance.

Please call me Rik. Because it is my name. :)

Ah but the only clear definition is the one in your head ;)

Except when you are playing Scrabble - apparently my own definitions "break the rules"  ::) :P

And I prefer the term Simplarity to simplicity ;)

Which is why I think we should develop our own ideas instead of looking to others, or books. Like I have :)

A second attempt at Breaks. This is not finished, so it is a work-in-progress.
What do you Breakbeats experts think?

Kind of influenced by JCW and also Aphex Twin.

Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery nice :D
Smooth
Nice use of smooth strings, and subtle melodies intricately spaced over the atmospheric drums.

Yeah loading and saving is no problem.
So everytime you tried loading or even just saving a track it failed? So you never got a song done?

And that's an interesting thought actually, J-Tech. "Corrupt files" was never a problem when on the PlayStation, yet get it on the PC and you have corrupt files. Though I do remember M2k freezing a couple of times on the pLAYsTATION

Just me then :P I do only use M2k on PC now. Haven't dragged my PlayStation out of it's dusty box for about three hundred and twenty two years.

You did not come across as forceful mate, I mean, you yourself suggested I use it. It's my own personal feeling of not wanting to steal a sound you utilize a lot :P I understand it may not be YOUR OWN sound that you have the rights to, but I am just imagining how I might feel if it were me. I'd like it to remain your personal sound that people would attribute to YOU.

I would not like for us to become a group of Cascada's lol

I know what you mean, and it is in fact one of main things that made me fall in love with Philes all over again this year when I remixed it. Such a simple yet attention grabbing feature, indeed the "drop" effect is the sex. However, I kind of don't want to steal YOUR sound, if you get me.

I do not yet actually have a bassline in the track, I was trying to see if the track could manage it without one. But I like this sub-drop suggestion. I just tried it :D

Just to clarify - by sub "drop" do you mean where the pitch bends downward? If so I believe "Philes" from the original Music had one:

I do know what you mean and I agree with you on everything. Contrast is always good, and I do welcome all feedback so I want to listen to what you guys say :D

I will definately think about the harsh-smooth contrast idea. Cheers dude :D

Hehe yay thanks buddy :D I thought the added lower-piano chords work well with the two original melodies :D - do you thinks I should take this version further?
