I asked for something like this on the music lounge and it was given the okay, would like to ask if we could get a section like that here. Compositions for games and films etc could go under the same heading as Soundtracks [game and film] or something like that. Just a thought.

I'll talk to Omni guys, however I know from past talks that Omni prefers to sort by the existing genres rather than making new sections, I imagine the answer will be to put them in the section that matches the style the best, but I'll let you know either way.
i'd like to see such section. it's not the first time that someone purposes to modify a bit the music sections and i still can't see nothing bad about it. the existing sections are not that perfectly structured imo, the 'other' section includes so many different styles, it could be worthy to split them into more accurate sections. it would be much easier to find the songs from a specific genre. right now it seems to me like a miscellaneous folder. not efficient, if you know what i mean

i don't really want to be considered a troublemaker but..... i still think that some minor changes could be a useful and positive improvement for the forum.
if we all together decide to add some minor improvements, i can't really see why this should be considered a sign of disrespect to omni. ON THE CONTRARY, i think that it should be considered as a great sign of respect. omni gave birth to this site, so what's wrong about making it bigger and better? that's just all we want after all, surely there's no troublemaking here
