Yeah,I like it. the effects sound great and i am liking the breaks.Good work sampling and trimming.
Cheers Irndemon. Yeah, trimming that up took some time!
Im not to sure about the synth 'solo'. I had the idea of 80's retro but not 100% happy with it. Maybe il change the sound.
Thnx for the nice comment.
Some really cool samples used in this track Stonecold, edited together very nicely indeed. This would be a good summer track I think, top work.
What`s the guitar sample from by the way?
Thanks Darkbliss
I presume u mean the main sample which lasts 8 beats. I dont know the exact origins of it, but the track i sampled it from is by 'Four Tet' -'As Serious As Your Life'(he obviously sampled it from another track) Check it out, it has a similar vibe to my version (which is why i called it a rmx) but has more of a cut up beaty feel.
All other sounds used are music2000 samples.
Just checked that song out, its brilliant! Sounds a bit like DJ Shadow, really cool video too!
yeah,lovin those morris dancers! lol.
Thanks Nak. I must get round to doing a vid for this one.
The only sample is the one you hear at the begining lasting 8 beats. Its looped throughout the track, stuttered in parts using 'sample start' and envelope tweaks.
Everything else is music2000.
The sound at 1.32 is a music2000 sample which i think is electric guitar(cant remember which one) with modified attack and decay settings.
Here is the ORIGINAL four-tet version :- http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=b5OM82LTsU0
Give it a few seconds...its not a joke video.
Nice tune buddy, loving the bass. prefer it to the original actually!
wow! Cheers Seipher. Thats spurned me on to get the vid done tonight! Thanks man.
