Albums / Entire DarkBliss collection
January 19, 2010, 07:07:34 PM
Ok guys, this is one big folder containing ALL my Music 2000 albums, including my two mini albums and a "best of" type compilation which includes the original version of "Beautiful Death". I`m also including the last track I ever made with 2000 which was originally going to be the first track to a new 2000 album, "In My Dreams I See A Polygon Girl", but was cancelled almost straight away.

I asked Lyricist to remove all the tracks I`ve posted here so this is the only place you`ll be able to download my 2000 tracks and I`ll only be keeping them online for a week or two before I delete them completely.

This is a decision I`ve come to on my own. I`ve definitely reached the end of my own personal Music 2000 road and I`m working very hard on a new album at the minute using Ableton Live which is taking most of my time up.

I`ll post that up here when it`s finished (around October/November 2010) for a limited time as I hope to get some sort of independent record deal with it.

Anyway, if you`re interested, here`s a little piece of my soul.

This is a damn good idea.

Cool as f*ck!

Dude, wheres the link?  ;)

I know I made the beat and part of the melody, but I was just giving you an ultra quick tutorial on how to do it, its not a collab so take my name away.

Awsome beat man, love the metal percussion.

Ah, I can definitely hear the "Audioghost sound" beginning to take shape, even in an early track, awsome acid synths, the subtle strings and the melody that come in at 1.30 are a touch of class, top stuff.

Love the melody that comes in at 2.40 too, goes really well with the vocals.

Theres so much variety in this track, good work man.

I`m gonna be honest as I`ve told you again and again, this isn`t a collab. It was just me showing you the basics of Music 2000 so please stop putting my name in your titles you ass.  ;)

Anyway, the tune itself is, in my opinion, your best yet. Once you get used to the more technical side of M2K and realise just what is possible with it, you`ll be busting out tunes like theres no tomorrow.

Awsome voice sample mate, works really well.

Excellent stuff.

Nice chopping up of the samples here, nice guitar.

This song actually reminds me a bit of some of Aphex Twin`s work, the same minimalistic experimental qualities are present here.

Great work.

Surley you know what words my comments on your work will contain by now?

How about, incredible, beautiful, professional...you get the idea.

Seriously though, this track is awsome Rob, beautiful, sci fi other worldly-ness in abundance. Gorgeous use of pads and strings and as Nak mentioned top class production values, so crisp and clean.

I just can`t fault your work mate, brilliant stuff once again.

Ah, back to the Bass Launch days! (Why did you change the name by the way?)

As always a beautiful other worldy vibe to this track, brilliant sci fi melodies...wow that bass is immense!

Yet another stunning track Rob, but then again i wouldn`t expect anything less from you mate.

Yo.

Oh yeah, I can definitely hear The Cure in here, excellent stuff man.

The guitar work is just gorgeous, excellent use of the reverb. Mate this track is just epic and shows what a great program M2K really is.

By the way, cool cover.  ;)

Awsome work.

:D That was awsome!

I`m humbled that someone would want to remix one of my tracks in the first place, so thanks mate. :D

Anyhow, this a cool effort, I like the reverse effect at the beginning, it gives the strings a whole new sound. It`s weird listening to my song, but in a different way. ;)

Nice nod to "Kill The Bad Guy" too.

I would have liked to have heard some of your own beats/melodies over the top, but overall good job.

Gorgeous piano work, lovely strings, a real Christmassy feel already.

Love the kick, I actually wasn`t expecting that!

There`s a real sense of urgency with this track, almost as if it`s dipicting Father Christmas` mad dash to fly around the world in one night!  :)

It`s upbeat yet there`s still a seasonal beauty about this, man I can`t get over those piano melodies, just fantastic.

Beautiful ending too, well done Shell my friend, a worthy entry indeed.

Well, you certainly got me bopping my head Charles.

Track one is just awsome, superb blippy and acid melodies, I`d like to hear you record a vocal version of it for sure.

Track two is again, awsome. You are a master of electro.

Which program are you using now mate?

Fantastic scratchy bassline, as Casper says your stuff is very avant garde, the subtle electronic effect that comes in at 1.46 is a neat little trick.

As always very strange, but very inventive and very cool...wonderful ending too.

Great stuff.
#59
Nice improvements dude, I see you reduced the kick levels, sounds much better.

I particulary like it from 2.36 onwards, nice effects.

All in all a nice little tune mate, cool cover too.

Wow Tim, already this is sounding very seasonal, but with an electronic twist.

Wonderful use of the sleigh bells and organ, this track actually reminds me of some of Orbitals work in places...the bells that come in three quarters of the way through are awsome!

Brilliant work, this fits the festive period perfectly.

Ho ho hoooo...etc. :)
