I'm not sure what the sites policy on bumping an old topic is,
but I don't care what they are in relation to this post.

This kicks ass!

Experimental/Other / Perfect Day
March 12, 2008, 10:11:25 AM
thanks

the wind and wave effects were lifted straight from the m2k disc along with the bird call. I dont much like using straight samples and nearly always go to riff-editor to shape the riff according to the song. Codemasters didnt seem to know what an amazing programme they created.
the guitar arp was a pure sample, but with cloning, adjusted a few notes to make it interesting and the intermittent deep, rumbling bass was just a guitar short chug slowed right down.
I told my wife to play this at my funeral. she "f***-off, you're getting YMCA by village people. hahaha she loves me

A night playing with downloaded and m2k voice samples. Drums, bass, guitar and plenty of noise kicking in around 3.00min after the buildup........

Sky Falls Down started out as messing around with percussion sounds until i heard Cathy's voice samples then things went array cos she sounds hot.

I'm thinking she's a 5'6" sandy haired tanned goddess with tiny nose freckles so the introduction of frequent long-chug editing took appeared in the song and a nice crisp rythmical drum beat

hope you like >>> Sky Falls Down[/b][/size]
