I made this a while ago but this is the only time I've uploaded it on here and yeah it is more techno-ish or harder than my other ones. The youtube video I made for it can be found here:

Yep, I know its a strange title... but its kind of named after a friend of mine. Mixture of my own stuff and various riffs from Music 2000.

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Spooked
March 31, 2008, 03:51:37 PM
This is amongst my oldest tunes..in fact this was only my 3rd tune whilst experimenting with the "very new" MUSIC: Music creation for the playstation (as it was marketed in the UK). Otherwise known as Music Generator.

Anyway...where the hell did that 10 years go??? lol.

A composition of my own stuff with various library riffs mixed in.

Another way get your music from playstation to pc without losing any sound quality is this:

If you own a DVD recorder...connect the scart socket from the playstation to the DVD recorder. Record your tunes to a DVD, then rip your tunes off the DVD with your PC using any appropriate music ripping program. I've used this method very succesfully and the quality of the sound is excellent.

Thanks for the advice there, and as you say MTV MG2 does have the added bonus of much more memory because of it being made for PS2. That can be a frustration with Music2000. I agree with what you say that on occasion some of the note effects would'nt play in the tune properly, so yes, its kind of six of one and half a dozen of the other.

I still havent really used Music3000 despite having owned it for ages. I should give that a go too really.

Thanks again!

thanks for the comments, my biggest gripe with MTV MG2 was really that some of really useful note changing features, were removed for no apparent reason. How do you get around it if you need to?

If I remember correctly I used a blippy riff from the selections and just modified it in whatever way to fit and work with the tune. Offset note changing is quite a painful process (well it is when I do it anyway, lol).

This was the first tune I made using MTV MG2 and is quite a mix of library riffs and my own work. Making this helped me get a feel for the program although in truth I do prefer the earlier versions of music generator.
