Here's another remix of a Zelda classic. It's got the same problems as the other one I've posted, too much reverb and the sample quality is pretty low. But, I still like it. This is one of my all time favorite theme songs. I'm also aware that the remixes aren't overly creative, but I was aiming for a certain sound, not to make something exceptionally original.

I have to say I quite like the reverb, it adds more of an "epic adventure" vibe to it.

I think I remember this theme (haven`t played Zelda 2 for a while). You`ve certainly captured the spirit of Zelda well, that sense of danger and adventure, it`s superb. Have you done any other Zelda themes?

My favourite piece of music from the Zelda games has to be the end credit sequence from A Link To The Past.
The way it starts off very classical and builds in to the overworld theme, I remember thinking it was beautiful even when I first played it as an 11 year old.

If you could do a version of that it`d make my day!

wow you beaten me to do a remix lol, altough mine would have been trance and may not have been as good. Awesome job, very professional sounding, very RPG-ish, I'm sure it could be used in a real Zelda game for example if Nintendo decided to remake the 2nd Zelda.

Btw what is the bell sample used? I haven't been able to reproduce such song on Music 2000/MTVMG2 and I'm curious about what I could come up with if I did a cover of a christmas song ?

Beoulve

Darkbliss: No, I haven't done any other Zelda remixes. I started on the dungeon theme for Zelda 2, but scrapped it. I also love the end credits theme from Zelda 3, maybe I will make a remix one day. I don't have time to do it right now though.

DJ Omnimaga: Thank you for the comments :) As for the bell sample; it is called "Reso Bell".

DJ_Omnimaga

Oh wow I loved the credit theme from Zelda 3. However, is it me or were some parts ripped from Final Fantasy 1, 4 and 12 intro? Because they sounded really similar. Illusion Of Gaia/Time Castle theme sounded really similar to Zelda 3 credits too

Thanks for the bell sample name :)

Ahhhhh this is new.
A new fresh style...
Sounds exactly like I'm playing a video game on level 12 and I'm about to get my ass kicked by some 4 headed dragon (with 3 tails) that are simultaneously shooting fire and the wrath of death ice at me.
This is really nice.... I agree with Dark Bliss, the reverb was a great idea.

Beautiful work!  This track is literally stunning me!  It's perfectly titled, as well.  Wonderful job!
