Title: Trancetastic (Music 2000)
Post by: Michael on August 26, 2009, 12:37:08 PM
Hello people.

This is a track I created back in early February which was almost 2 Months after using Music 2000 for the first time. It's a pretty loud track with a bit of explosion and as for the title.. My younger brother named that for me hehe  :D

Anyways I hope you like it, not much Variation in Melody as I am still kinda weak at that.. Sounds pretty cool on Headphones  :)

Welcome to TIMGUL Mike CJ.

Nice subtle beat and the pads/strings were really mellow, pretty emotive.

Second half was better for me than the first, I think the melody sounded fine! Nice chilled out piece, well done, I'm looking forward to hearing more.

Mike i'm so glad you came back. when you joined the music lounge i thought your productions were just extraordinary for a rookie, as i already told you back then. i hope you will enjoy your stay here for a long time, and be an active member, because i can tell you everyone here has made remarkable improvements just for the fact or being part of this community, sharing ideas and constructive criticism. i can say your future is bright, imo you just need little more experience to be one of the top timgul producers.

oh the song is cool of course. i appreciate a lot your mellow, smooth and spacey way to make trance music, very similar to mine. just watch out for popping reverb

Hey guys thanks for the welcome  :) Also a big thanks for your comments, and Shell its good to be back.. I didn't think the original TIMGUL would return so soon lol  ;) I just wonder if there is a way to edit the reverb level on riffs.. Anyone know how to do that? Would be greatly appreciated if you could help me there.

All the best

Mike

Hello there  :)

Yeah I have different riffs at all different levels of volume to suit the way the track sounds.. I guess i'll just have to fiddle around with stuff and see what happens really..

Thanks anyway and also thanks for your comment. Yes it is only been a few Months.. but I really spend my time with this programme and try out different things.. Melody is my weakness right now but i'll get there eventually.  ;)

I'm known for my simple yet effective or my erratic melodies but when I make the effort I can put nice melodies together lol. You'll get there in the end Mike but your music sounds fab so far.

Pretty cool track, it had a classic feel to it all the way.
