Excellent!!...Like the way you do it  :) Love the tune....gotta love them sub drops!! Nice reece aswell  :D

So i suppose you could mute channels on m2k then record drums, bass, sfx etc as seperate tracks using your effects on each of them, then record them as one through a mixer...if you have one,Just like the pro software?

Anyway...F**kin awsome work mate!!

I'll Be Back!!!

Hey cheers casper mate, im glad u liked it! :)

Thanx for checking the 'making of' vid irndemon!
Yeah it's possible to do that mate, (i take it you mean like effecting the drums while keeping everything else 'uneffected'?) the problems can come when trying to sync it up again. I can and have done it but it takes a hell of a long time. The digital recorder has faders for each channel/track and also has its own fx with routing to each 'track' but when it's done is it still classed as a 'music2000' production?........ I held back on over producing this to keep in the spirit and sound of 'music'
I could just shove the whole lot into Ableton and do it the easy way,but i get such a buzz doing it 'hands on'! :D
Thanks for the kind words!  :D

I really enjoyed making it and chuffed everyones liking the results!

note:-
youtube sucked the life out of the tune, so iv changed the link to the HQ version (&fmt=18)

Yeah totally, YouTube really muffled the samples. I had to edit the link manually but I'm downloading it now to HD. Have to have this with all the others on my Walkman Phone. I have a tea and cigarettes, I'll watch that making of now. I have a new tune up on YouTube too, inspired by Weapons Division. :)

yeah,..Thats exactly what i mean,I understand how it might be difficult to sync it all up. Cool though!!
I wouldn't know where the boundry line would be for it to stay a "MUSIC" production....You made a reece tone on a synthesizer and imported it to the music software,...Which is fair game obviously...But like you say, if you seperated the channels,..then the final sequencing wouldn't be done using 'MUSIC'.......But the riffs and samples are still 'MUSIC'(exept imports)..And no other software is being used..Only hardware for recording purposes & effects(ppl add after effects when recording using audacity etc)...Which you used anyway...So i suppose i would still class it as a 'MUSIC' production  :)

Hard Work by the sounds of it.  :D

Only just played this today as making up my version I didn't wanna lose heart as I knew yrs was gonna be BIG  :D

Absolutely loved it. Awesome effects, BASS!! Cool voice samples, totally unique..TOP TUNE. Think I can do some stuff to my mix to make it better, very different but not too bad.

Samples are up now OK, geez..  :P

Thanx 147. I had a pretty clean slate when starting this (used drum sounds from my other dnb track 'weapons division) Was gonna go with dark atmos/soundscape sound but couldnt resist using THAT bass! I tried not to make it too 'jump up' so structured it with tech/electro sections for a 'soundtrack' feel. Hope i got the balance right :)
