Hi guys  ;)

Now that i've finally figured out how to transfer my tunes from the ps2 (thanks to Pillage for the advice  :D) i thought i'd post a couple

Anyone who gets to know me will find out that i sometimes like to mess about with other tunes, so here's a couple of short examples, hope you like them.

As always, comments and critisisms are welcomed ;)

Thanks Pillage,

I actually got my easycap today.  I used the installation disc to install the easycap, and the Ulead video editor.  Problem is, i can't seem to find how to access the easycap.

I also checked under My Computer to try and find the easycap connection, butthere's no trace of it, so i don't know if it doesn't work (even though the insallation seemed to work ok) or if i'm just doing it wrong.

If you could give me a kind of step by step i would be hugely gratefull.

Thanks again for your help ;)

Edit:

I figured it out :D  and Goldwave works a treat, thanks very much for your help Pillage ;)  I'm looking forward to posting more tunes :)

Thx for the comments guys, it's nice to think the track isn't as bad as i thought it was :)

I'll have to have a crack at a newer one now lol

This was my first attempt at a happy hardcore track.  I done this on Music 2000 when it first came out, so it's pretty old, but i had a really good laugh making it.

I know it's not as good as most of the tracks you would get here, but i'm still working on getting my newer stuff onto pc.

Hope you like it  ;D

Thx m8, i was lucky to find a couple of riffs that blended well :)  Once i'd found them i done the track in about 20 minutes.

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Unedited

This is a track i done on Music 2000 at around 2003.  It's the only track i've done with no riff edits (with the exception of one tom riff)

It's simple, easily made and in my view, quite catchy.

Enjoy  :D

This is great, thank you very much.  I'll try to get that lead and have a crack at it, but i'm unfamiliar with Windows Movie Maker, so i may have another question for you  ;)

Thanks again  :D

MUSIC 2000/MTV Music Generator / Help Question
September 22, 2008, 06:25:46 PM
My apologies if this is the wrong place to post this question.

All of my music games are for the Playstation 2, and all of my tracks are saved on my PS2 Memory Card.  Does anyone know how i can transfer my tracks from my PS2 Memory Card onto my PC?  Also, if this is possible, does anyone know what i need to do to convert the files into MP3 or WAV format?

Thanks for any input you have  :)

Thx for the comments guys, sorry it's a late reply, but my partner and i have just had a baby boy  ;D.

It's nice to share this tune with other people for once.  As i said, this was the first tune i ever done, back in 97 or something.  I've never changed it, as it's a reminder of how i got started  :D

I've got a few others which i might post, i'm not sure if they are up to the standard i've heard here.  But i have some on my PS2 memory card which i'd love to post, but i don't know how to get them from my PS2 memory card onto my PC.

Oh, and thx for the tips Quade, i'll try to incorporate them into my next tune  ;)

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Spirit of Trance

I hope i've figured this out properly  ;D  If so, this is the very first track i ever made called Spirit of Trance.  It was done on the PS1 using Music.  I can't remember what year i made it, but Music had just been released.

I've got about 5 more on my pc, but i'll see what kind of response i get before i upload them  ::) and If i can figure out how to get stuff from my PS2 memory card to my PC i'll be able to upload more.

Any thoughts, critisisms are welcome.  Just remember i am an amateur  ;D

Enjoy  8)

Introductions / Hi there
September 16, 2008, 06:52:39 PM
As you can guess, i'm new to this.  I found this site by accident.  I've just ordered Music 3000 and was looking for some info on it when i stumbled across this  ;D

I tried to listen to a track that someone posted but couldn't, it took me to savefile.com.  I tried signing up to that also and still couldn't listen to it.  Can anyone help with this?

I also uploaded a track to savefile, (the first track i ever done when Music came out for PS1) but don't know how to post it here either.

Lastly, i don't know how to get my stuff onto my pc.  The few i have were put onto minidisc by a friend, and i no longer have access to it.  I'd appreciate any tips.

Lookin forward to knowing you  8)
