Oh yes. You REALLY THINK i'd be gone for good, did you? WRONG.

And what do i make my 'glorious' (pfft.) return with? Well, a ReMix of a song i've wanted to do for a long time now. It's a ReMix of a song from a game called 'Splatterhouse'. Info on that game can be found at this website-

http://splatterhouse.classicgaming.gamespy.com/new.html

Specificly, this is a ReMix of that games Final-Boss song, named "Requim of Cpatain Mozzerella". Bizzare name, yes. But the video link below will prove WHY the final boss has that name.
The song is a little off in most places, but i can't really be blamed for that. There was no sheet music, at all, so i had to figure it all out by ear. You can compare my ReMix to the original here:

The song i ReMixed comes in at 1:00 exactly. Be warned- Sound effects heavy. And you won't hear all of it, but you can hear most of it.

That said, i emplore you, enjoy! (And for the record- Velenosi Sangue means Venomous Blood in Italian. =P)

http://www.zshare.net/audio/1622237508ba93ec/

Again, sorry for having to use zShare. If your going to blame anything, then 1) blame the filesize limit on this here site for attatching files, and 2) Blame Savefile for not working correctly. As i previously said, it takes at the very, VERY Least 5 or 6 attempts at inputting the goddamn securiaty code on Savefile, and sometimes, the file won't even upload. So for now, endure- I WILL have a link to a Fileplanet download soonish, hopefully.

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / New-Age Funk Revolution
June 16, 2008, 09:29:28 PM
Also for Otherside.

This one is a Bit Different then the Other New Submission. This one was ENTIRELY About Rythem!

I've been dabbling about with Funk Music recently, and this was the Result. Not bad, if i do say so myself. Could have been a TAD Better, but otherwise this Experiment was a Sucsess.

This is going to be used for the first level of a World that a friend of mine whom is working on the Project with me Designed. A Idustrial-Revolution based Steam-Punk world. I decided Techno or Trance wasn't going to QUITE Work, considering it's based around Steam Technology, not Ultramodern Shizz. However, when i came up with this song for another Project, Slum King, i thought it worked quite well, and i decided to use it for Otherside instead. (I want to finish working on Otherside's Soundtrack first before moving on to Slum King's.)

Enjoy!

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Diamond Droplettes
June 16, 2008, 09:12:01 PM
Ah, another new song for that Platform game of mine im working on, Otherside.

When i was Composing this, i was thinking of a Darkened Cave, the only Light coming from the Clear, COlorful Diamonds dotted around, glowing a little like Neon Lights (Which is EXACTLY What design im going to be using for this Particuler Level). I wanted to convey a Sense of Awe and Mystery with this one, rather then Focusing Soley on a Rythem or Heavy Drums. In fact, im pretty sure these are the Lightest Drums i've made thus far!

Here's hoping you enjoy it!

EDIT: Sorry, due to filesize, i had to upload it to zShare.

And no, i couldn't upload it to Savefile. Im not spending half an hour to upload one song because the site won't accept a friggin' security code for the first 20 times.

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / TechnoRomance WIP
June 07, 2008, 11:20:24 PM
From the same Project as Mall Party, Also.

This is the 5th Games Level backing Track, which is a sort-of Underground Laboratory/ Factory. Henceforth, it's really the only Dance-Like song i'll be making for the Project, despite it being my Usual Motif.

The recording just does NOT Do this song any form of Justice at all. You can hardly hear any of the Extra SFX I added in properly, and those you can hear, are not clear. But, oh well. It could be worse... It copuld have come out COMPLETELY Crackly- To the point where it was just a Audial-Nightmare!

This is probebly one of my favorite peices of my Recent Music, next to "Tears of the Little Prince". When brainstorming the song, i knew i wanted something that conveyed a Mechanical Theme, so i KNEW It had to be Dance-Related somehow. I just didn't expect it to come off as Well as it Did! Belive it or not, the SFX That is going along with the Melody was acctualy only just thought up today!
Another thing that bugs me is the OffBeat HiHat's are not showing up. This is a common rpoblem a LOT Of my recordings have, and it's Unfortunete, because it takes a lot of Feeling away from it. But i Digress...
As stated in the WIP, This is a DRASTICLY Unfinished Peice, and im still working on it. I shall post a new thread when it is completed.

Until then, Enjoy what we have so far!

NOTE: Im pretty sure there's at Least a good few songs, Anime, and whatnot, with the Name "TechnoRomance", or "TechRomance". Im rpetty sure i've seen something (Music, Cartoon, Anime, Moive- Not sure) called "TechRomancer", as well. I Just feel the title fit's. It was either that, or the other 2 titles im debating- "The Fantastical Zombie-Making Machine", or "The Technical Romance of the Zombies". Blah...

From the Same Project as 'Mall Party'.

I was debating over where exactly to use this song for a long while. 'Should it be one of the Boss Songs?', 'Should it be a Level Song?', 'If so, What Level?', 'Or, for that matter, What BOSS!?'

I ended up settling on the 4th Stage of the Game, which is a Metropolitan City- Street (Or, at least, a Place that is designed to LOOK like one. When i start letting out a little bit more info, that'll make m ore sense...)

I really went all-out with the Organs in this one, and i like the Effect. I also decided to use my usual trait of making Guitars the Backing Riff, rather then the Leading one- Something hardly anyone ever does, and something i think works quite well.

That said, Enjoy!

Im on a roll- 2 new songs in 2 Days! Whoda've Thunk it?

Anyway, yes. Went for a Moody, Light Electronica one with this. And to think, it's Genesis was simply me messing around with... Whatever the name is of the Rock Melody Riff i used. APOLOGIES FOR CHEATING. AGAIN. XD 9I still edited it, though. And there IS Custom melody in there.)

I like this, simply because you'd never guess it was a BOSS Song. It's quite cleaver, when you think about it- Most boss songs are all "OMGWTFBBQ EPIC!!!!" (Coughcoughfinalfantasycoughcough), so i wanted to do something different.
Plus i just cannot see this little guy, the boss in Question, having a massivly epic theme-

http://jamesprower.deviantart.com/art/Dont-cry-Little-Angel-76126412
http://spinningcannon.deviantart.com/art/PoA-Sketch-70392675
(The first 5 drawings where done by myself, the other 4 being done Quite a while back- The 6th, also done a while back, by a really good friend of mine. Who conicidently, is also helping with the Project).

One thing io find very interesting is that this song has a 'Ghadius' and 'King of Sorrow' (From Klonoa- Door to Phtantomile and Klonoa 2- Lunatea's Veil, respectivly) Theme thing going for it- A Basic Melody, repeated Throughout, that is Built upon Constantly. I swear that this was Coincidental, considering i don't really listen to "The Wheel of Woe" or... Whatever the King of Sorrows Music is called, very much. It's all about 'Balladiums Drive' and 'Facade And Blade', heh! (Those of you that have Knowladge of the names of the Klonoa Music Tracks might have a SLIGHT idea what the hell im going on about).

Taking into account the Tragic Basis for this character (The name give's it away- "Prince of Anguish" ), A Moodeir Song works a Smeg-Load Better then a massivly Orchestrated Peice would... Not that i can exactly COMPOSE stuff like that, but i digress.

Enjoy!!

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Mall Party
May 29, 2008, 08:44:44 PM
Nice new song (Done on M2KPSOne- So not-so-good quality, im afraid. Sorry =B ) for a Shooting Game i want to do at some point. Baring in mind all Game Idea's are just that- Idea's. Ah, well at least i have some 'Nice' (feh) Music to show for them if they never come into being.

I have 2 other WIP's for this game where i tried to do some Awesome Music, and Phailed. Phailed so badly it requires me to spell 'Fail' as 'Phail', and Both tracks require SERIOUS Reworking. With this one i was just fucking around with some Guitar riff's and THIS was the Result. Funny... Eh?

Also, Be warned- It's Quiet. Sorry about that.

ANOTHER UNfinished work and ANOTHER Song for the MUGEN Project. What can i say, 'Tis fun doing music for what will be (eventualy, and hopefuly) a Fighting Game!

This song is one of the few that focuses more on the Character then the stage. The character here is the sort-of guy that doesn't like getting close to people what so ever, for fear of them getting hurt for what he get's himself involved in. (I shan't explin the entire thing, as it'd probebly put you all to sleep!) So i wanted a more Ambient song with a Sad vibe. This is what i got.

I also wanted a song with a Beat that changes speed, but not the Melody. Thank the lord for S L O W Beat, eh? XD Call me cheep for using a Libary Riff, but at least i edited it slightly.

All in all, so far a Sucsess. Hope you like it!

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Spirit Vision
April 20, 2008, 01:38:26 AM
I mentioned this in a post earlier. Started and finished this work today, and it's another stage theme. This time for a character that is a Spirit Medium... Who is terrified of Ghosts (Oh, Irony!!)

SO yes, you can expect a song that sounds like it would Fit Halloween right here. I love it, though. It'd definetly one of the better peices i've done. The stage itself is a Graveyard at night- With a ghost or two poping up for effect now and then.

All in all, this was a Succsess. Well, all of it was, except it's original titled name- Horror Tyme. No... Just no XD (I had to give it that name because my I and K Keys don't work on my laptop, so i just name songs random things on there and then rename them on my main computer. But seriously, Horror Tyme? that's weak, really, really weak. XD)

Enjoy!!

And the last of the 4 for now. Here we have anothe rtrack for the MUGEN Project- This time, the High-Scores/ Name Entry music. Not really much to say, other then the effect i managed to come up with using the combo of the Organ and Guitar was unexpected- But it works well. Also, i said it was a bit of Hip Hop- That really only applies to the Drums, mostly.

And one last time, Enjoy!

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Celebration!!
April 17, 2008, 05:27:25 PM
The 3rd of my newest Tracks. This song is also the first in the project NOT To be a stage theme. Instead, this is the theme i came up with for the credits- A Good Old Dance track!

Also, pardon the problem with the drums being LOUD AS HELL. The Volume Control on M2KPC Is completely Arse-Backwards and it's incredibly annoying. I will go back and fix it at some point, i promise.

Enjoy (Once again)!

Another Character Stage track for that MUGEN Project of mine. This time, for the Sub-Boss. I want it to have a slow-start, and at the moment it's still building up to the main part, if you get my drift. I was going for a combo of DnB Beats, slowed down to a BMP Speed of a Dance track, mixed with some Piano Elements. This is the result so far. I was going for a song that would suit a battle in a huge, marble hall. Sort of like what you might find in an Incredibly Big mansion or a Museum.
Again, this is Unfinished.

Enjoy (again)!
#13
The first of 4 new songs (2 WIP's, 2 Finished)

This song is going to be used in the MUGEN Project i mentioned before, as another Stage Theme. The character isn't that important, as im sure you people don't really give that much of a Damn, but eh. The song i was going for here was a cross between Rock and Dance- And it's working so far. I can sort-of see it going good with a Stage on a boat, ALA Stage 5 of Streets of Rage 1 and Streets of Rage 2. Bare in mind this track is VERY FAR from being finished at this stage. I'll post up a nice new thread when it's done!

That said, enjoy!

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Force of Sunset
March 31, 2008, 04:32:48 AM
You all by now know me as the man doing many game soundtracks by now, and i come to you with another new song from M2K PC. I seemk to have gotten around the agravating Interface somewhat, but it's still annoying. Never the less, i count this song as a Succsess.

The feeling i was going for with this is a track you might hear during a Fight at Sunset, withc makes sense, as this song particuly is for a Fighting Game (Well, M.U.G.E.N Edit, really) and the stage it's going to be used in is a stage set at Sunset. And im acctualy genuinly pleased with the result. It was rather annoying to work on certain area's and took about a Million Edits before i got everything right, witch seirously cut into my time. (I started it about 1 a.m. in the morning. Finished only a few minutes a go and it's currently 25 past 5. I know i should be sleeping, but musical insperation hit me like a brick :B)

It loops through twice, and then the ending plays, just so you know.

And while i think about it, my Computer is really buggy with M2K PC, Considering it's a Vista and of course, M2K PC Was made to run at anything from 95-to-2000 (Including Mac's, i THINK.) How i got it to work is a Mystery in itself. For some reason i have been unable to load Streets of Rave today. (I can sve files and work ont he song's just fine- But other error's aside, the main problem is i just can't LOAD Anytinhg). While this might be just because i didn't log-out of MSN and still had a Firefox window open, i don't know, but if it isn't, then i'll have to work on it on my Old, Dying, near death laptop that acctualy is running on Millenium Eddition, and has broken speakers. So it might take a while to finish that one. Sorry ^^;

Anyway, Enjoy this as much as i did Making it!

Yes, that's right. I was lucky enough to find the PC Version of M2K On amazon the other day going for a Tenner, and i don't think i need to tell you, i had a Massive Seizure of Joy that lasted a good hour. And it was the only copy they had, too! (Thankfuly in good Condition- In fact, i can't see any Scratches at all!)

The Interface IS a little annoying, but it's not as bad as some people that have reveiwed it have said before, Granted yes, a Little Pianful in the "Right Click> Menu, pick option> Left Click> Perform Operation> Left Click> Right Click" Repeat En Masse, but it's nothing that can't be handled.

Almost instantly... My whole Music-Making life just became easier.

Now that my files aren't of Shitty Quality, i can think about uploading them to say, site's like OC ReMix if i got into ReMixing, or even New-Ground's Audio Section. And now people might take my music SERIOUSLY for once.

And also, thanks to the info DJOnimaga provided,  i can still use the PSOne version of M2K at my Leuisure, and it also means that all my hard work stored on My Memory cards and whatnot won't go to waste.

But enough about that. Enjoy this still very incompete Demo of my frist M2K PC Song, Streets of Rave! (A Little Tribute song to Streets of Rage, hence 'Clever' *pfft.* Wordplay)

A Track from the 3rd of my game soundtrack projects (And the second one im not working on alone.)

My least favorite of these songs. Because of the one section near the end. I really, REALLY Need to work on that.

But eh, this was the first song done for this project, so i was still finding my feet in what i wanted. And i suppose the outcome isn't that bad.

I sort-of Blame DJ Omnimaga for the style of the song, though. I'd been listening to his Excellent Happy Hardcore Songs that day, and i guess they sort-of rubbed off on me XD If this was a little faster, and had hevier drums, i'd consider it to be a happy hardcore song itself. But, it's more Happy Trance then anything, i'd say.

Well, enjoy!

A Track from the 3rd of my game soundtrack projects (And the second one im not working on alone.)

Man, this is an Odd One. But i'll explain how it came to be the best i can.
I was browing youtube one day, randomly listening to Song's people had uploaded, when i cam across THIS:

Well, insperation hit me like a Brick with this one. I thought, "If Sanodg can make a Rave/Jazz tune, I can make something similer!"
I didn't want it to be a Rave/Jazz tune, though. So i sort-of went with the Rave Half of the song first, and waited to see what came up. And what did i come up with?
... Noir. Freakin' NOIR MUSIC XD HOW i ever came up with that is beyond me. But what the hell- It works like a charm! (For those not-in-the-know, the Noir parts of the song are the "Arco-String" riff's, and the Piano Chords. For those even MORE Not in the know, Noir is a genre of film or book that focuses on Crime, and was very popular in the early 1900's. A Lot of films would make use of Piano Chords and various String Instruments in their soundtracks.)

The only problem is that those acursed bloody Piano Chord's Don't match up with ANYTHING Other then the riff using a combo of Major and Minor Tink. It was HELL Getting them to work anywhere else (You can ever hear for yourself it doesn't match up with the second half of the "Aah Vox 1/2" Background Riff.)

I'd also like to note that i accidently messe up in recording. I missed out the first 2 Blocks of the song, explaning why it might sound a little odd. Dunno how i managed that one, eeh ^^;

Well, enjoy!

A Track from the 3rd of my game soundtrack projects (And the second one im not working on alone.)

Yes, i know in the link it says "James Prower's Theme". I changed it not long after to Manx Armada's for reasons that im pretty sure nobody gives a damn about. I'll just say it was for Character reasons...

Another spontanious track here. This was originaly done as a song for one of the bit's of Music Coursework i had to do. We had to compose a Brit-Pop song, or, alternatively, just a verse or a chorus. Now, after reading that you can already see the problem here- This song is way to Dancey. In fact it's more close to Modern Pop then Brit-Pop!!

But i didn't want it to go to waste, so, i added it to this Project.

Eventualy, it will have sung lyrics to go along with it. I won't be singing them, though- Im tone-deaf XD Oh the irony...

I think the drums here are the best Drum's i've ever used. It's the Snare i used that does it. ("Pop King").

Well, enjoy!

Youtube:

A Track from the 3rd of my game soundtrack projects (And the second one im not working on alone.)

The RaB In the title stands for "Red and Black". The reason for this is that this is a ReMix of an Old Tune i did a long while back named "Red and Black: Reala 2007". That track was done for a NiGHTS Into Dreams... Tribute album project i was running. I ended up doing 4 tracks,. and other artists where supposed to do more... I only ever got one other song XD

This was acctualy spontanious. Because im a Lucky Bastard, i have my old PSOne set-up at my School so i can use Music 2000 (Or Music 1, depending on the situation) for GCSE and Coursework Purposes. Well a while back i was fairly bored and was mucking around with Black and Red. I'd manage to make about the first minute or so of this and left it as that for a few weeks. Then i came back and finished it. This is the result.

The reason i added the "Turntable Madness mIX" into the title is because of something a mate of mine said to me. He was in the room at the time (I use a small Guitar Practice room in the Music Department, because it's the only Practice room out of the 4 to have space for a TV and have Reachable Plug-Sockets.) i was messing around with the song, and commented "Wow. You know, i reckon you'd be really good on a Piar of Turntables, you know." The rest was History...

Probebly not as "Hardcore" as some of DJ Omnimaga's stuff, but it's still technicly a Hardcore Techno song. And one im proud of, considering the ammount of crap going on throughout it.
If i ever find the original Red and Black, i'll be putting it up as well, and you'll be able to see just how much i acctualy changed it!

Well, enjoy!

A Track from the 3rd of my game soundtrack projects (And the second one im not working on alone.)

This is probebly my favorite track out of the 6 i've done so far, simply because of the Edit i did to Big Organ (Put in a bunch of Minor and Major effects) And for that damn crazy Guitar riff. (Very simple to make. Load up "Big Solo" B, Upgrade the sample quality to 22hz, make each Note inside the riff Minor (Meaning you have to do each note seperatly) and make the last note echo. Simple enough.)

I wasn't quite sure what genre is would be, though. I'd say probebly Ambient Trance. Im sure what other Genre it would fit into, other than "Misc."

Well, enjoy!

There will be a few here that you might have already heard (Do You Dream? Would be one of them.) But there's tons of New (well, to you lot, anyway XD) Songs here. Enjoy!

Here's 3 Notable Favorites of mine at this point in time:

"Seraphis' Tears". Best work i've done with Pianos. PERIOD. In fact, with the exception of 2 Organ Riff's (Well, 1, really. The second is exactly the same- San's the 4th Blocks) the only melody here is the Piano Riff i came up with, Repeated and edited in various ways. Yes, i filled up ALL 24 Spaces allowed on the PS1 Version with the ammount of different Piano's used towards the very end XD

"Tower of Dawn VER 1". Apparently, im mildly good at doing more Ambiet Tracks, too. I love the melkody i did here. My good friend noted it as " A Haunting Melody". I couldn't agree more!

"Heartless Hatred". One of the many boss song's for one of my 3 (Yes, it's made the jump from 1, to 2, to 3... Dear sweet god O_O; ) Game Soundtrack projects. This being from the first one. I had this up before, via zShare, but zShare is stunningly shit, so heres the youtube link, for all to enjoy! This song borrow's a lot of concepts, and is technicly a tribute to a song yb the title of "Wrapped In Black". Copy/Paste that into the Youtube search bar when your done and you'll pick up most of the similarities right off the bat. Im not complaining, though, because i purposly did that- As i said, this is a Tribute to that song, in a sense, even if the basic Melodic Pattern is different!

Even more Game Music. This time for a different Project. Both of these Tracks can be considered Boss Songs.

Version 1 was done completely in Music: Music Creation for the Playstation. Version 2 is an Edited Version Edited in M2K (Extra Percussion added, slightly, Backward Cymbol's Replacing the Guitar Dives, and less Gurngy-Guitars)

Belive me, these sounds So Much better comming from a TV Then here... These recordings really do neither of them Justice...

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / 3 Various Tracks
January 30, 2008, 12:28:34 AM
This time, im going to share a couple of song's with you. 3 Are from that game im working on- One is a ReMix of the Theme from the NES Back To The Future game.

Back to the Groove- Back to the Future ReMix: http://www.zshare.net/audio/70033782724448/

I really only focused on ReMixing the first par tof the melody, becuase i had trouble with the Middle Bit's of it. And i had to improvise the drums completely, because the original Lacked any form of them. But this came out all good in the end, and im Proud of it!

Nature Dies: http://www.zshare.net/audio/70033983e9f8e7/
This is the first of the 3 game Tracks. This one im planning on using for a level witch is just one huge, Dying forest (Hence the name). It was mostly experimenting with Ambiet Sound-Effects and a DnB Beat, if anything, as most of the Riff's are Edited Libery Riff's.

Gemstone Orchestra: http://www.zshare.net/audio/7003428dfffae8/
The Second of the 3 game Tracks. This one im going to use in a Level that is one huge, Undergroud, Giant castle made of nothing but Pure Diamond and various other Jewels. Uses a very simple Melody- Basic Organs. Still, it's a Melody that can get stuck in your head!

Heartless Hatred: http://www.zshare.net/audio/7003645da86f31/
The Third, and Final, Game Track. (for now)
Heartless Hatred is the battle theme used by the main Antagonist of the game (The King of Hatred, hence the name) So i tried my best to make it as, ehem, "Final Boss-ish" as i could. (He isn't the VERY last boss, but regardless he's the last one that's Obvious...) This song shares a lot in common, and is inspired by the final-fight song from Sonic Rush, "Wrapped In Black". It even has a Rappidly Incressing Tempo section midway through.

Listen and Enjoy!

One of my most recent peices of Music. I specificly made this for someone i really care about, whom is facing imposibly bad times at the moment. However, it might be fetured in a Future game that i am also doing music for (Alongside the aformentioned person, as well as other bit's and bobs for the game as well.) Depends.

Hopefully this friday i'll have a far-better recording of it available for all of you. For now, unfortunetly, this'll have to do! ^^;
