Danthrax: Manic Pandamic - Heavy Metal, made on M2K. Tell me what you think, opinions appreciated.
AWESOME! Nice and heavy. Like the little twist at the beginning.:)
Thanks mate. I like insane heavy riffs. Next mission: top this riff lol.
this is excellent and imaginative programming-the synths bring to mind type o negative and the the chugg programming is just dazzling welcome to the forum casper
Thanks mate, glad to be here. Your work is cool too.
Intro was not what I expected, but as the song progresses you forget all about that. Man nice, heavy, gritty power chords/riffs. This is some pretty sick shit!(In a good way) Love the change in octaves with the riffs that really stands out. Good breakdowns from the subtle synths to the guitars coming back full force. I really like the way you intertwined Rock/Metal with a bit of a Classical touch.
Awesome thanx! I have more gritty roaring stuff to upload soon.
That was awesome man. I loved it all from the synth melodies to fat chuggy riffs. Good work.
Thanx man :)
cool congo style and strings at the intro.....lol omg nearly blew my nut off i had full volume on head phones...Shit me up lmao.
man im loving them strings u gonna have to give me the chords 1 day (if thats alrite) so i can make some Happy Hardcore out of em.
Yet another wicked song.
Yeah mate, i just gotta remember what the hell they were. Lol, sorry man yeah it does just comes blasting in haha.
its alrite pretty funny really, bloody woke me up lol.
Very real and pro sounding guitar!!! So gripping, bright and crisp - the sound of the chugging guitar gives a very good visual in my Synaesthetic mind!
Good drums/breaks, although....I don't know if I am just fussy but could the snare not be emphasised/brightened more to meet the frequency of the hihat?
I think the strings are a real solid addition - they work very well by giving the track some good dynamic variety. From a personal point of view, have you thought about giving the strings some aditional production to give them a deeper, more "gothic" sound with some reverb to really make them authentic, rich and...orchestral perhaps?
Superb congas/bongos at the intro, they have a lovely solid crispness to them and go well with the strings!
Awesome!!! I agree w/ RS... That snare wasnt angry enough. It could've used another layer or a touch of gain. Your guitars are excellent. Good piece D!
