Its been a while....

this is my latest track produced using Fl Studio....a nice piece of atmospheric drumfunk.
been working on this over a week now...

sounds best when played very loud using quality headphones as thats what i use to produce with....some good speakers and sub is good too.

Use this high quality sound link to the youtube video then watch in full screen...

Or use this normal youtube link then use the HD tab...

Thanks for listening.

Not sure if there is much rap....but there are some remix packs there trance , house, dance, rnb ect....midi files with accapellas in .rar files for lots of tracks...some are missing though.

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / !

I'm listening to sample 2 while writing this...Good sounds here...These type of beats with the reverb are perfect,Gives them that Techstep machine/robotic sound,...loved that synth near the start where the track goes into just hihats "uurroowwweeeea",Should use this more in the track coz its twisted! Seriously!! :D

But like stonecold said...Your call..we all have a different sound,..& thats whats so cool about it  :)

:) Cool!!...Just listening to sample 1....That is some terminator gritty bass!!...Drums good too..The silent only bass part is cool & dark
The track is pretty dark when it gets going...Would have a darker intro if you done somthing with the sample mechanic...bit like part 1 with but with more erie soundeffects than i used .instead of the pad you used here...But it works either way.I think the sample "Mechanic" sounds robotic and "Terminator" like

That wobbly volume envelope thing you do makes the synths sound robotic....good idea  :)

Sounds good!!
Check the others in a bit

In the words of T-800.........I'll be back...lol

yeah,..Thats exactly what i mean,I understand how it might be difficult to sync it all up. Cool though!!
I wouldn't know where the boundry line would be for it to stay a "MUSIC" production....You made a reece tone on a synthesizer and imported it to the music software,...Which is fair game obviously...But like you say, if you seperated the channels,..then the final sequencing wouldn't be done using 'MUSIC'.......But the riffs and samples are still 'MUSIC'(exept imports)..And no other software is being used..Only hardware for recording purposes & effects(ppl add after effects when recording using audacity etc)...Which you used anyway...So i suppose i would still class it as a 'MUSIC' production  :)

Hard Work by the sounds of it.  :D
#14
Excellent!!...Like the way you do it  :) Love the tune....gotta love them sub drops!! Nice reece aswell  :D

So i suppose you could mute channels on m2k then record drums, bass, sfx etc as seperate tracks using your effects on each of them, then record them as one through a mixer...if you have one,Just like the pro software?

Anyway...F**kin awsome work mate!!

I'll Be Back!!!

:) Nah..I mean after the second drop i switch reverb settings every 2 bars...Go through nearly all of them.....It goes techstep,...Amen....techstep...Amen etc..with the reverb changing at the same as the drum patters change.

Sure the tiger is quick, but i think it would only scratch the surface...The bear is strong, has claws and is a hunter also.

Grizzly bear or gorilla?....Hard one
