Title: Sick! Drum n Bass Nu-Skool style
Post by: stonecold on January 11, 2009, 07:56:14 PM
My first brand new track of 2009.
Drum and Bass nu skool with swing/triplet sections (something hard to do in 'music2000' as there is no shuffle/syncapation button!),think 'Subfocus' / 'Andy C'
Created on MUSIC 2000 PS1.
Hope you like.

:D When you said that you were going to do a dnb track, I really didn't know what to expect....This is f****n Great!!I just love the sound of hard brassy Beats and catchy gritty bass lines like this.I want more!! Sick =)

Have you done any other dnb tracks?

Cheers Irndemon. Yeah i did loads of dnb a few years back, more jungle style with amen breaks, but cant find the mem cards!
I survived on smoke and caffine while making this one! Got a few ideas for some more + an addition to your 'metal skeleton' series. :)

Big tune! You are making a metal skeleton tune?? Excellent!!

I made a tune ages ago, 'The Bouncer' slightly similar in rhythm, but very simple..need to update! Be cool if you did make more dnb  :D

DnB isn`t really my strong point but I definitely know a good tune when I hear one and this is certainly a tune!
The effects you get out of Music 2000 are mindblowing, this sounds so pro. The swing section is genius, I know how hard it is to do that.
Again another top tune mate, you`ve actually inspired me to have a crack at a DnB tune, something I`ve never done!

Thought I'd have a mosey through some of the old posts and glad I did - this track is awesome!
Great tune in it's own right without even taking into account the quality of production and technicality.
Respect!
