Wow thanks all! Im gonna have to do a making of vid for all my stuff at this rate lol!

Ok... i cant take full credit for some of the beat as i used a sample(1 bar lasting about 2 seconds)from a legit cd. I trimmed it up spot on and was able to 'loop' it in the effect edit so it would go a full 8 blocks without drifting bpm which was cool for stretching out the 'radio' phase filter which was added over it(near the start of the track). I cut it up 'amen' style in the break sections using sample start mods.
The kick in the sample was so good i didnt need to add another but i added some tams and tabla in some sections to get that 'apache break' sound.
I used a compressor when recording it which u can really hear punch in at 0.29... powww!

Imported samples:- 1 bar beat - 44khz, the voice at the start - 22khz
The rest is all music2000. (i had do delete the cool voice sample after recording cos i filled the mem card up!)
Thanks again guys.

Not sue if this is the right section...could be classed as hip hop too.
Breakdance track, oldskool style with a future twist.
Found a nice clean break, imported it. Knocked it up in about 2 hours, and im really pleased with it.
Theres a few dropouts(?) but nothing major.
Im gonna add some vocoder vox later on for an even more electro sound, but here's the instrumental.
Enjoy B-Boys!

Created on music2000 ps. Old outboard compressor used to get that 'punch'

Also there are 606 and 808 sounds on here as well. One of the 808 claps is spot on(il check back later with a sample name) and 'formant' sounds like a meatier 808 kick but has a long bass tail which can cause probs getting a bassline to sit nice over it.

The 'wanna dance' sample is a 909 sound. Very 80's!

Could be track length? are you trying to burn "1 shot' samples(1 track per sample)? less than 1 second per track? Maybe you should edit up alot of samples per 'track'. Sorry i dont know about itunes/windows burner as i use Roxio or sonicstage.

Thanx 147. I had a pretty clean slate when starting this (used drum sounds from my other dnb track 'weapons division) Was gonna go with dark atmos/soundscape sound but couldnt resist using THAT bass! I tried not to make it too 'jump up' so structured it with tech/electro sections for a 'soundtrack' feel. Hope i got the balance right :)

Just listnd to all. They all have good elements. For me, sample 2 & 4 are my favourites for hard synth lines but love the sub in sample 1. A breakdown with the start of sample 3 would be nice :) Your call mate.... its all good!

I dont know how you do it pillage. I really dont! That was just brilliant mate. Christ those synth/strings sounded so pro like a real synth playing, such smooth 'pipless' changes. F*ck! :) The whole track consumed me. The drums, bass, the melody.
I wish i could do trance as polished as that.

Hey cheers casper mate, im glad u liked it! :)

Thanx for checking the 'making of' vid irndemon!
Yeah it's possible to do that mate, (i take it you mean like effecting the drums while keeping everything else 'uneffected'?) the problems can come when trying to sync it up again. I can and have done it but it takes a hell of a long time. The digital recorder has faders for each channel/track and also has its own fx with routing to each 'track' but when it's done is it still classed as a 'music2000' production?........ I held back on over producing this to keep in the spirit and sound of 'music'
I could just shove the whole lot into Ableton and do it the easy way,but i get such a buzz doing it 'hands on'! :D
Thanks for the kind words!  :D
