Really loving this track, loving that little melody on the left side of my headphones through out the track, catchy leads and synths with delicate percussion to accompany it. Good work.

Merry Christmas to you too my friend :)

Very nice track, stunning piano quality and the little part from 01:10 - 01:24 really emerged me, as did that lovely piano which came back in afterwards.

Do you use the "dancer" synth quite often? I think I hear it in this track, I used this in my Dimensional, Horizon & Distant Haze tracks, it's a great sound for chill-out music I believe.

I like the fact people develop different styles, It really brings out the originality between different artists, this is always one thing I play close attention to when listening to brilliant trance music.

This is so good, you really know how to arrange lovely melodies, so good it sent tingles through my veins while listening. Quality trance music & I love the percussion in this too. Like J-Machine said, "Chilled out, feel-good vibes", this is clearly a great example of this.

Dude, this is really good, dating back to 2002 aswell? good grief that's a long time ago lol. This reminds me of many Ministry Of Sound classics I used to listen to. Lovely melodies as usual, liking that little vocal also.

You have a very nice style too :) &  being recorded via CASSETTE, it really gives a nice classic quality feel to it, so it was GREAT for me ;)

Hello again.

I've now completed this little trance track I've been working on over the course of 1 week :) .. I changed the name to "Another Direction" .

I feel as though I am improving gradually :) and feel proud to achieve something like this because it is my most advanced track so far.

Recommended for headphones to get the benefit of the bassline and panning sounds. d(^.^)b.

Wow loving that bass, astonished to believe that came out of Music 2000, Nicely done sound effects, good beat, I love the layout of your snares in many areas it's really cool :) .. Nice pads.

This is a great production, not too much all at once but sometimes less is more and this track shows that potential exceptionally, very clean and enjoyable.. I listened like 3 times :D

Good day :)

Thanks for your comments :) thank you for listening.

Hi Coordman, its just a case of getting a nice layout and fiddling the the note envelopes really ...   like the snare sound, very fine envelope with added reverb to give it a smooth effect ;)

and yes I've played Bejeweled hehe, would be awesome if this was on it tho lol :o

Downtempo / Re: Northern Direction (FL Studio 9)

Hello there DJ nice to see you again to buddy :) hope you are well.

Thank you for your comment, I'm glad you like the arp melodies I made and using headphones yeah, it really does take a track to a different level than normal speakers depending on its structure.

Due to my current level of skill I still have much to learn yet, creating sound effects, wind sounds (something similar to what Omnimaga used in M2000) and I'm still aiming towards a decent Reversed Cymbal (lol) :P

Currently no VST's as of yet, but I've got plans on getting those designed especially for trance music pretty soon.

Thank you for listening, have a great weekend my friend.         Best.

Downtempo / Northern Direction (FL Studio 9)
August 28, 2010, 01:16:25 AM
Hello people.

This is a rather smooth track I've been working on lately with some nice variation in melody through out. It's not quite finished yet but I've been so eager to upload it here so I can see what you guys think of it.

To get the full benefit of the track I highly recommend listening with headphones as I use headphones myself and constructed the track to suit them well.

Been using FL for a month now.

Take care.  ;)

Techno/Trance / Experimenting... (FL Studio 9)
July 18, 2010, 03:09:27 AM
Well people, It's been a week since I got FL Studio and I might be sticking to this instead of Music 2000 in the future.

I'm currently working on this Experiment track, it's only 1:17 in length at the moment because I'm practically just messing around and trying out controls, would you say this was alright for only a few days experience? I had additional help in some ways to so..   no downloaded VST's as of yet.

I have also included one of my very first attempts at making a track to, only short and was made in the demo version at the time. Name: "A bigger step" (1:31 in length) and "Discovering the path" which I think is my 3rd attempt (1:16 in length)

Drum & Bass / First Contact (MTV Music Generator 3)
April 22, 2010, 04:41:14 PM
Hi all.

When I used to be with my brother he made a DnB track with MTVMG 3 all by himself without my help. He has a bit of a mental disability and to be honest, the melody he made up for his track in which he called it "First Contact" .. lol, I thought it was really good, I remember how he looked so chuffed with it when I told him I loved the melody he made up  :). He also threw all random vocals in the track in no particular order so I did the same thing in mine so I could keep it just like his version lol  ;D

Unfortunately I do not have the track that he made, but I decided to remake his track in my own way using the same melody in a different way and he felt very special because of the remake hehe, he was a great bro, I miss him alot. He had no idea how MTVMG 3 worked but some of the stuff he created was so wacky and crazy, sometimes even funny that he would laugh at it himself lol.

This track is a mixture of pre-made samples and my own samples from the MELODY and DRUMBEAT sections.

Mike.
