Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Re: Nakama OST forest track

I agree with DJ Omnimaga, very nice RPG feel to it. Beautiful track. I only have one critisism; there are some "clipping" here and there. Maybe assigning some intruments to the right speaker and others to left could help, I'm not sure. Also there's a bug in Music2000 that creates additional points to the note pan thing(I think that's what it's called) when you assign effects to several notes at a time in the riff editor. To fix this you actually have to remove the additional points note by note, so it's quite the chore, but still worth it in my opinion. Other than that, great job!

I love strategy-RPG's like Final Fantasy Tactics, Kartia and Stella Deus, and I also love their respective soundtracks (especially Masaharu Iwata and Hitoshi Sakimoto), so I have made several battle themes in that style. Hope you like this one :) Made with Music 2000.

Thank you! Feel free to use any of my music. There are some that have used my music in non-commercial projects, but I've never seen the results. One guy used this track for a documentary he made about Big Foot, LOL.

Thank you! I haven't played secret of evermore, but I totally get your point. We rarely got any RPG's in europe, so it wasn't until Suikoden and Final Fantasy VII I discovered the beauty of RPGs. I'm currently playing FFIV for the DS and I'm loving it. Lots of great music.

By the way, you can find the reso bell sample under pad-softsynth.

Darkbliss: No, I haven't done any other Zelda remixes. I started on the dungeon theme for Zelda 2, but scrapped it. I also love the end credits theme from Zelda 3, maybe I will make a remix one day. I don't have time to do it right now though.

DJ Omnimaga: Thank you for the comments :) As for the bell sample; it is called "Reso Bell".

Here's another remix of a Zelda classic. It's got the same problems as the other one I've posted, too much reverb and the sample quality is pretty low. But, I still like it. This is one of my all time favorite theme songs. I'm also aware that the remixes aren't overly creative, but I was aiming for a certain sound, not to make something exceptionally original.

Thank you for the encouragement and the comments! :) I guess what I lack is knowledge and experience. I have basic knowledge about creating music, but to get into the professional market you need more than that. Though I love music, I have put my effort into visual arts and I'm hoping to eventually get a carreer in that field. Music is "just" a very enjoyable hobby. Anyway, Zelda 2 is my favorite game for the NES and also sports one of my favorite soundtracks of all time! I have created a remix of the normal temple theme as well that I will upload now. Again, thanks for the comments!

Italo Disco is one of my guilty pleasures, and this track is so f*cking fantastic. I love the melody, the samples you've used, the progression and the fact that it's a little repetetive, that's the way it's supposed to be!

I hated MTVMG3 so much that I actually got rid of it. I was so dissapointed. I wish they could make a new and updated version of Music 2000/MTVMG *sigh*. Anyway, delightful song, a great beach track :)

I love this one so much, it's so much fun and totally captures the eurodance style. Great progression in this track. I usually think that female vocals are essential for eurodance music, but you have sucessfully created a very interesting instrumental song, bravo! I used to be a big fan of Masterboy way back, are you familiar with them?

First of all this is one of my favorite Final Fantasy songs. I really like this remix as it is one of the more original remixes I've ever heard of this song. I like the 80's influence. You have used a couple of really cool synths and I also love the drums.

This is a cover version/remix of the last temple theme from Zelda II. The sound quality is pretty crappy and theres too much reverb going on. I still like it though.

Thank you for the very nice comments DarkBliss. And I noticed the Zelda theme was removed, so I will post it again. Composing game music has been a dream for many years, but sadly I'm not talented enough. I'm not a very good sound designer, and my compositions are pretty dated. But, I have actually recently provided a couple of songs for a childrens/educational computer game developed by a very small studio in Denmark that will be released in November.

Thank you Zappnath!

I have a lot of material that I have created over the years, probably somewhere between 50 and 100 tracks of various quality. So, there's a huge chance that I will upload more. Most of my music is inspired by videogames, but visiting this site has inspired me to try out other genres again.

Hi! I'm new to this forum, and I'm so glad that I discovered it! I've been playing around with the Music 2000 game for Playstation for several years, and it's fun to see other people share the passion for this fantastic videogame!

I love using Music 2000 to create music inspired by videogames; especially RPG's, platform and adventure games. So, here's my first upload in this forum. It's a fun and cheesy little song called Jungle Party.
