Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Re: Forbidden memories
November 17, 2008, 07:04:27 PM
It's the same with me Omni, if I start creating a song from previous riffs it takes less hours. And of course, some of my really simple tracks have taken me around an hour or two to create. I try to keep everything I create for as long as possible. I still have save files dating back 8 years. There are some tracks that never gets finished, that I tweak and change almost everytime I boot the Music disc. But, in the end it isn't about how many hours you've invested, ultimately it's about the final result.

You two are both experts with the MTVMG/Music software, so even though you spend less hours than I may do, your stuff is friggin' awesome. And Darkbliss, your songs don't sound rushed AT ALL. But I think it's a good idea to keep your savefiles, you never know, right? Lately I have copied my old files onto a PS2 memory card, so that I can make room for new tracks.

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Luna 2008

So, I remade my Luna song. The sample quality is higher and I added some of the melody in "Digital Vandalism" and also added an ending. I think the song is much better now. Hope you like it! :)

I've heard this one before, do have an account at soundclick, musicdownload or somewhere like that? Anyway, this is a beautiful track! Lovely melody, and I don't mind the fact that the track doesn't go everywhere. It has a very nice flow to it. It would be great in an RPG.

Very nice progression, lovely melodies, and fantastic production.

Totally pro stuff Omni. Fantastic strings. I also love the melody and the slight retro feel.

are you on ocremix pillagemyvillage? I seem to recognise your username from somewhere, but I can't seem to remember where. Fantastic production as always. I'm really impressed by what all you guys here on TIMGUL manage to create with limited software. Very impressive. I'm not a really big fan of this music style, but I enjoy everything I listen to on this forum. I guess it's because I know the level of effort that is put into creating music with the music/mtv music generator software. And I'm a sucker for great melodies. I love the melody in this track, fantastic progression and great bangin' beats!

The melody in the intro and at the end of the track is from Vandal Hearts while the mid section is a variation of my own track "Luna". Made it a couple of years ago with Music 2000/MTVMG.

OMG, I'm in love with the intro! Please submit more like this!!! I love your work! :D The tracks you've uploaded are fantastic. I love music like this. I'm amazed by the fact you created this in MTVMG1, I've tried to create dark experimental tracks in MTVMG/Music 2000 but it didn't turn out very well...

The skip didn't bother me that much actually. Great job on this one. Would be perfect in a horror game like Silent Hill or The Suffering. You've inspired me to work with dark ambient again!

Oh, I LOVE this. Are you familiar with the Silent Hill soundtracks? Akira Yamaoke is one of my absolute favorite composers and sound designers. This reminds me of him. I love dark ambient. This would be perfect in a horror game. All the sounds you've used are fantastic! I LOVE the ending. FANTASTIC! I'm a big fan of this. Wish could make dark ambient just as well as you do. Lord knows I've tried!
