Artist: DJ Omnimaga
Title: Indra And Shiva

Comments: Old trance song. I had to cut down the lenght because the original was 9 mins long and it is kinda repetitive after a while.

Artist: DJ Omnimaga
Title: Once Upon A Time
Year: 2007

Comments: Despite of it's repetitiveness this song will make you feel back in the early '80s! It feature a melody similar to Firestorm and The Summer Trance running on a nice good ol' disco beat. Only for nostalgic people.

Like my remix of Tous Ses Cris Ses S.O.S this song isn't fully made with Music 2000, because the lyrics were added on top of the song since they couldn't fit in Music2000 sound memory even at 11 KHz. However the quality is much better than the two songs I just uploaded since it was made on the PC. I messed it up while adding the lyrics though because sound came out a lil weird and I lost the original.

This song is a remix of the 1998 song that played in a Alegria circus show movie over here.

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Wheel Of Fortune

Like my remix of the french song "Tous Ces Cris Ses S.O.S" this one was also recorded on tape using a microphone, I was supposed to rewrite it from scratch using the Music 2000 on my playstation emulator but I discovered you cannot import samples from CDs using an emulator since it makes Music 2000 freeze literally, and this song use a sample from Ace Of Base's Whell Of FOrtune song, which is why I am uploading the bad quality one.

THis song is pretty old skool, similar hardcore could be heard in U.K. raves in the mid 1990s

Other Music related Discussion / Tous Ses Cris Ses S.O.S

Ok this song isn't fully made with Music 2000, because the lyrics are all external, since Music 2000 cannot accept such long sample sound. It is very old, back then I was using the playstation version of the game and I didn't had a sound recording program so I had to record this using a microphone. Basically i tried to play the original song from 1987 by Marie Denise Pelletier and by pressing the play button harder at sometimes I tried to sync its speed with the Music 2000 song from TV, so the sound quality is pretty bad. I recently ripped the original tape recording using Nero and edited it through a sound editor so it's much less worse than it was back in late 2003

Title: Techno Revolution (2007 Extended Mix)
Year: 2007
Sample rate: 128kbps
Comments: An extended and finished version of the Techno Revolution song from back in early 2004. Some stuff was also changed a bit or moved around. Have eurodance style kick and some similarities from Chaos Inside Me and the trance remix of Firestorm, but the style is harder. For those who like techno and trance.

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Techno Revolution
November 08, 2007, 12:40:36 AM
Artist: DJ Omnimaga
Title: Techno Revolution
Year: 2004
Sample rate: 128kbps
Comments: A never finished song from back in January 2004 when my MTV Music Generator CD broke, halting my music production for almost 3 years. The current result could be considered as finished as it was one of my most dedicated work back then (and my last one until the end of 2006), but the song is a bit less than 2 minutes long. If you liked Firestorm Trance Remix and Chaos Inside Me you should like this one!

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Techno Strike

Artist: DJ Omnimaga
Title: Techno Strike
Year: 2002
Sample rate: 128kbps
Comments: A smooth trance song with changing bass. This is a very old song that I did a few months after starting making techno music though so it is kinda simple and repetitive compared to my other work, altough you may like it.

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / The Summer Trance
November 08, 2007, 12:23:33 AM
Artist: DJ Omnimaga
Title: The Summer Trance
Year: 2003
Sample rate: 128kbps
Comments: Old trance song with guitar melody, it has some kind of warm feeling into it, like if you were going at the beach or something :P

It use a lot of premade riffs, since it is one of my oldest songs, but I think I used them quite nicely and I actually modified most of them to fit the melody I wanted to

Lost songs (MUSIC/MTVMG) / Dance Mission X

Nice idea, I didn't knew about this, I assumed someone who played on Ps1 hooked his tv headphone port with the pc microphone port using a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm cable at $5 from Radioshack or Circuit City, but I remember doing this and the sound quality wasn't as great. Still not bad though, it was about the same quality than audio cassette.

I only used MTV Music Generator (which is called Music 2000 in Europe) for Playstation 1 and PC so far, but I don't like the PC version because the controls are so annoying and not user friendly and it crashes quite often since I use Windows XP and it was for 95/98/NT/2000. I think the PC version was never released in Europe, but I'm not sure about this. It allowed 99 sound channels instead of 24, had much more sound memory and allowed importing wav files and saving songs as wav files, but again it was pretty unstable.

For now I use the playstation version of MTV Music Generator on ePSXe, which is a Playstation emulator for PC. I record songs using Audacity which can be found at http://audacity.sourceforge.net so I get CD-like quality. It requires insane computer ressources though but I am quite fine on my Pentium IV 2.95 GHz.

I currently have to use a pirated copy of the game because the Playstation copy I bought in 2002 which I still own doesn't work anymore :(

Below is attached a screenshot of the PC version of Music 2000, released in USA one year after the original PSone version
