Could someone upload MTV MG for Pc on rapidshare or something, i've lost my cd with the game(

well unfortunately i doubt they will keep it online long, because it is illegal to do so so they will probably just delete the file and ban me if i do.

Plus, I don't have the installer anymore x.x

I would suggest checking ebay for either MTVMG, Music 2000 or Music 2002 Club Edition, I got the later for about $5 there (shipping included). Keep in mind Music 2002 isn't compatible with Music 2000 files though, but it has the same samples plus a few more

Is it better than MTVMG/M2K PlayStation? What files can it export to (ie. mp3/wav/etc)

Music 2002 is the same than Music 2000 PC, can import wav files (16 bit PCM only iirc), has 99 sound channels, unlimited memory and can make wav files, except that it has more built in samples and riffs

I think I read on a YouTube video of it (I think it was yours, actually. :P) that it's a little unstable when it comes to creating your own riffs...

I have the PC version, now.  I found a place to download it from (wink - wink) so it's not impossible to get.
I'd still like to get an "actual" copy.  I remember seeing them in the $10 bin at Wal-Mart a few years ago, but my PS2 was still working, then, so I didn't feel like I had a need for it.  Now, I wish I'd have just bought it, anyway.

It's been a few years since I've used the PS version, so a lot of the intricate details of how to use it elude me, now.  I've tried to use the PC version, a couple of times, but it doesn't "feel" right, for some reason.  One would think that using a mouse would be more intuitive than a game controller, but it, somehow, seems more difficult.  I'm going to keep plugging away, though, because I really miss being able to create music.  I've tried other app.s, like Fruity Loops, but they are much too convoluted and just getting a simple drum beat takes far too much effort, especially when compared to the ease-of-use you get with the Generator.
