Well, uh... It's... uh. It's a song.  :-\ Comments and suggestions would be appreciated.

Wow, first song in two years? I loved it. I liked the little plinking melody behind the main guitar riffs, the drum work was great too and the ending was like the fade out to credits from a film or something. Towards the end of the song there seems to be a metallic stab type sample, I felt it was a little loud but I don't really know much about metal music production so I could be wrong. Great work. :)

Gorex

Thanks for your input! Glad you like it! And yeah, you're right about those stabs at the end. I'll lower the volume on them just a tad and see how that sounds...

JCW

Cool stuff man, great work can't wait to hear more.

Fear 2 Stop®

This is freaking awesome! Which in the series did you use?

For some reason, it made me think of Final Fantasy 7 in some parts...which is a compliment (strictly speaking musically). And honestly, I liked the effect at the end..made me think of Terminator for some reason.

a+ work!

Really cool track, sounds kind of dramatic at the beginning and then all of a sudden its sounds like its time to fight. It reminds me of music in the intros of some the fighting games that I've played in the past. Especially the WWF games created by AKI for the N64.

Great work

Fear 2 Stop®

Ha ha...that's a great pickup. It would be cool for a fighting game...

yeah i had the same impression, this tune (like a lot of other songs from gorex) seems to be perfect as soundtrack for an old school videogame. they really remind me the battle themes of the old final fantasy games, which is nice to me.

It's comments like this that are gonna' keep me motivated to pump out more. Thanks guys, you have no idea how much I appreciate your feedback.  :)

Also, for Fear 2 Stop, I use MTV Music Generator for PC.

JCW

Gorex, I do too. Do you suffer with the crashing when saving/loading songs?

Gorex

Oh yeah. Sometimes it crashes when saving and loading, sometimes it won't let me load samples after a while of use, sometimes it'll give me that Generator clicky noise in .wavs that I make with it (especially at the beginning of songs), and that's even getting around that nasty Direct X 7 search that made me think the game didn't install correctly (found out just to ignore it, the game plays anyway if you tell it to from the start menu).

It's definitely a lot buggier than the PS1 version was, that's for sure.

JCW

Yeah, my songs do that. I use an extrernal program called Goldwave and just cut literally the first second out, it removed the weird beep noise thing. I can't load saved songs at all, so you're lucky it works for you sometimes. When I enter the generator, it's a song in one sitting or not at all. And even then it crashes during song making sometimes. I found if you run it in compatibility for XP it works a little better though. Or 98/ME.

DarkBliss

Really cool guitar and drum work here Gorex...this song`s got me all pumped up for a fight!

Woah, the last section is brilliant! Sounds like Music For The Jilted Generation era Prodigy.

Great tune mate.

Ahh....I have it too,but sadly not the disc, so I can't use it. Won't say anymore, as I don't want to violate board rules lol

JCW

I won't violate them either, but same here. It is legal however for me to say to you, download a program that can mount an .iso. This is how I bring music to the board.

Gorex

My copy started to refuse saves and loads and I reinstalled it. After it promptly exploded, saves and loads were back. Unfortunately without a disk I guess that's not exactly the easiest option to fix it...
