Title: Erase & Rewind (Cardigans Cover with vocal lol)
Post by: Fear 2 Stop® on September 23, 2009, 04:34:44 AM
I had this song stuck in my head all day so I decided to do a cover of it just for shits & giggles. I apologize PROFUSELY about my vocals.... 1) I did it in it's original key  2) I'm a bit buzzed  3). I kinda fucked up on the rhythm as I was did the instrumental track by ear as opposed to using sheet music. 4) I sang along with the track as it was recording to my computer from my PS2 using my web cam as a mic  (which is why you can hear my tv in the background).

wow this is pretty good and u do have a decent voice-i wouldn't mind laying vocals on a track like this.very good production on the music-all u'd need to do to make this more pro would be record the music to mp3 and use a multitrack digital audio workstation that has a way to record the vocals on a seperate track i recommend  magix it's very easy and u can add echo n reverb precicely how u like.there is a free version called magix music maker for myspace it's on freewarefiles.com
i tested it and it is very faoithful to the original magix but no synths, but to lay down vocals on an existing track it would be perfect  big ups for this billy and crew  casper

Thank you guys a bunch! I did it kind of a joke, turned out a lot better than I thought it would.

If I get the balls I may upload a couple of things I did karaoke-wise on the Other Music forum.
