Bit of a trance banger i made,i think around 2002. Just spent tonight tweaking it. Got a bit indulgant but had to hack it down to 9 mins!(il call it the 12" mix) oops he he

Alot of tracks encircling the theme of robots/machines lately don't you think? Just something I thought was cool. I'm a complete geek for mecha and the like.

That name just came to me as i was uploading it lol! Elemental = nature/ethereal. Machines= erm.. machines. Nature's machines = us! (getting to deep here!) ha ha. Bloody hell i wont sleep tonight.

just wanted to comment on this song-this reminds me of the dark techno that got me so hooked in the early days.also have a modern trance style that is spot on my favorite track from u so far stonecold.keep up the good work m8     casper

Thanks Casper, i remember(2002) trying to make a trance tune with a harder edge but keep it 'feel good' at the same time. I think i got the balance right. The latest tweak was adding the lead melody over the top of the hard synth.

holy shit this sounds full on pro! the percussion and the bass really stand out... i wish i could get that kind of sound ~~ crying ~~
i love the harder edge with that phat synth, but then its complimented by softer strokes...
awesome production on this. what are you using for bass?
really in love with this, really addictive, quality production, so many layers! do you ever get the problem of notes being missed? i get that big time so have to cut alot of riffs out!
wow this is a big 12"! loved it, amazing... can see myself and a few hundred others ripping it up to this, the depth is outstanding.

Thanks pillage, yeah dropouts give me headaches. Not really a problem on this tune though,the busiest parts maxed at 13 tracks(+1 for a cymbal crash). Less is more sometimes. Hardly any perc, just kick,hi-hat,clap,snare,stick and crash.

The 'meat' of the bass(on the off beat) is 'dancer' 11khz modded envelope(straight up ^attack,29 high line>,34 realease''\ to silence the 'pop')sample start 85, 3rd octave.

This is the 2nd song I've heard from you (Pachelbels 'Canon') which in my honest and fair opinion is one of my favorite songs, ever.... I don't mean just on this Forum, but I'm talking that I've ever heard before period.

Well the beat sure is addictive, then your main melody is very catchy. The string work is excellent during your break down. This is excellent. You sure prove you have great versatility in styles.
