Possibly one of the best peices i've done in a long time, i started work on this as a little aside song inspired by, and dedicated to the creators of a fantastic webcomic series named Harmony, which by this point has spawned a number of spinoffs and continuations, and has been an absolutely vital source of inspiration in a time when i was stuck in a bit of creative draught. Slowly and slowly it's begining to turn into an entire album project that, when i get some spare time, i hope to be able to work on.
The part of the comic that really got me inspired was a short segment named the White Ship story, which manages to get the balance just right between tragic and hopeful, and is considerablly well-written, given it's an expansion of an otherwise not-very-much-touched upon detail in the videogame series the Webcomic is based around. With that thought process in mind, i try to craft a very electronic sounding track with a hopeful sound, subtly spiced with an air of tradegy. I probebly ballsed it up, but hey, never hurts to try, am i right? 8D
