thanx i rarely step outside my own shell so hearing good stuff is awesome.

yes i used to be very shy about showing my music to other people, just like you. but the guys here are just so friendly i just couldn't help to change my mind. i'm confident that you will do the same

wow, i enjoyed this a lot. splendid use of guitar, how many guitars tracks did you record to get these beautiful riffs? the kickdrum and hihat are lovely too. and those short moments of silence at the end of the guitar loop are classy and stylish. very, very good track

...and Fear 2 Stop from what i can see up here...

just a trial, a remix of an old drum 'n bass song of mine made with music2000. i took the piano melody and drone from music2000 then moved it onto ableton, where i made some experiments with triplets and other cool effects after creating a new beat.

i already posted this one in the WIP thread but maybe it's more appropriate to post it here

it's all up to you of course, but if i were you i would release a version of the record as complete as possible, for free, as a tribute to timgul members who shared here for free their records made with the MG series. then i would move forward and go for more professional productions with brand new software and skills and try selling music.

correct, since i joined here in february i've listened to hundreds and hundreds of songs. well, i have a passion for ambient music and atmospheric sopundscapes so this one here is really my cup of tea.

i also share your same feeling about the sound of music2000, which is obviously flawed and limited, but it's just so warm and lovely i can't help stick at it even if i'm currently making some interesting progress on more professional programs. 'Press play on tape-era' ---> how sweet!

i look forward to hear new stuff from you and to chat with creatormusic one day

thanks for the comment TPT, glad you liked it. the next one might be Sacrovirgo (less polished than ultimaelectrica but i consider it better), but i'll wait just a bit for some other requests.

it's always amazing to me to see that people have so many different opinions about my records... some guys prefer calming sounds and hate the hardest tunes, while others seem only to enjoy the badass ones and don't like the ambient pieces...

it's also amazing that no one for now seems to prefer Little Shiny Diamonds (2nd half of the 3rd song), which is imo the most remarkable song on the entire record... i guess it's a matter of tastes..

i checked out your songs and i have to tell you they're very cool. you seem to be a great producer, very pro sound there

DJ Mixes / Re: TIMGUL Hypermix 2009 // DISC 02

that's good news. good to see that you haven't dropped this project, which is really cool. i was working on a new dj mix some time ago but i had to quit because the songs i chose were just too complicated to merge.
downloading now, i'll check it out asap.

this might be a great moment for new dj mixes because there's so much activity lately, so many new songs and interesting material..

edit: how did you manage to download nakamura's 'fanfare for pillage'?

Techno/Trance / Re: Trance Dance (Music 2000)
August 29, 2009, 11:03:11 AM
once again, i'm absolutely amazed by your skill. i already told you a million times before but it's just astonishing. if you listened the first songs i made using music2000 you would be laughing for days.
don't you even think about quitting using the program or even worse quitting creating music. i have enormous expectations about your future productions, don't forget that and don't let me down.

this one here has your trademark all over it: a spacey trance piece with a very thin, subtle melody. the attention is focused on the harmony and the atmosphere rather than on a catchy lead melody. so much ambiance here (i love that), just watch out for popping reverb (i use to overdo with reverb too so i can say i have a good experience about that), i usually recommend not to apply the reverb on the hihats. great stuff anyway, even greater if i think this is your very first song (almost unbelievable).

maybe it's too early to say that but... watch out timgul guys...maybe this guy we have here is the next pillage or nakamura
