Fear 2 Stop®

This track contains my version of some songs from Final Fantasy 7 and is not available anywhere else. BTW, the shaker sound towards the end is a sample of me shaking a bottle of my kidney meds.

Enjoy!

Cool track. I love the intro with the big bass and calm melody, love how it switches up to the signature final fantasy 7 melody at the end. I thought the 'med shaker' percussion(cool ideal by the way, lol) that you added was a nice touch as well. It reminded me of some of the remixes of the FF7 songs that they did for Crisis Core.

Sounds like this was done with the MG2 software. Like I said in the other topic I do find this one harder to use than the first one. But its cool that this is the easier one for you you to use, I wish it was the same for me, but I haven't messed with it enough to get past the interface, which is the main problem for me. The same for DHF which I seemed to have an  even harder time with than MG2.

I appreciate it. Nobuo Uematsu-the guy he wrote the music for the FF series until FFXI- is actually one of my biggest influences musically, along with Brian Wilson & Brian Eno.

DHF's interface is the worst ever. It's a damn shame.

Wow, great stuff Fear 2 Stop took me back a little.

Fear 2 Stop®

Glad you liked it. I guess it's not only the gameplay of pre-FFX games that are better, but the music is way better too.

I loved the FFX music, I'd love to remix the desert theme (Bikanel/Besaid Island?) or the Ultima Weapon fight with those badass guitars.

Gorex

Awesome work man, makes me want to dig out the old PS1 and relive some memories...

Yeah, FFX was pretty sweet musically, just IMHO not up to the previous standard. The Besaid Island (complete with the frogs in the background), and that techno-style boss music on one of the times you fight Seymour are my two favorites.

My favorite Final Fantasy music was in 8. I would love to do a cover or remix of 'The Man with the Machine Gun'. In fact I'll put that on my list of musical experiments to do.

I actually made a song that was inspired by RPG battles themes years ago on MTV MG1. And I recently found, recorded,  and was going to upload it about a month ago, but then I realized I never completed it, and it was only in its rough draft stage. So I decided to wait until I had time to finish it. But I might upload that version anyway as a preview because it will probably be months before I have a chance to finish it and I have some other experimental songs that I want to do before I start on it again.

Thank you kindly...here's a funny story about that...the track *originally* started off as a cover of a Vanessa Carlton song, when my wife realized it sounded like the game over music. So, I ended up turning it into what you just heard. What I later realized is that I threw something from FF8 in there also.

Actually, it was Ordinary Day, but I did originally have A Thousand Miles open it, but that was for a joke as I was poking fun at how the song started off originally.

This is why it opens with a fade. If I can find it I'll post the original version.

Found it!

Here is the original 2002 version of this...this version was intended to sound more like the "real" version from the game. My remake posted earlier, I was trying to make it sound like it would if I had written.

Crap..only uploaded part of the song...lemme fix it.

edit...

okay here we go.
